Blamed if I know. Apparently goth is divided between trad (Sisters of Mercy, hairspray, red wine) and cyber (EBM, green hair, speed), and never the twain shall meet. Because it's trad on one floor and EBM on the other. It all sounds very interesting, though, in a Hebdigy way.
Anyway, hot goths aren't really the point - there's a sense of belongong with Livejournals that I find interesting in what is essentially an enbaling technology. Is it a value add, do you think? The friends list, the private posts - things you can *sort of* do with Blogger, say, but which are not built into the functionality in the same way... |
