I really like Bonaventure because there is an indoor skating rink on the first floor of the office tower. You can skate in a sweater (jumper)

Ooh, I quite like the look of Namur, very futuristic.

This is real, right? It isn’t just some internet hoax-site, and you’re all laughing at me right now?

It's for real BD. The site doesn't even show the shopping and resturants that are a level above the actual Metro (a.k.a: Tube, Subway). We truly go underground here.

Toronto also has a lovely underground city, that can take one fully through the entire downtown core without going once into the cold of winter or heat of summer.

Ahh, climate control rules!

Sorry if my madness yesterday was taken harshly by anyone. That means you May.

And Keggers, I'd be appreciative of one ticket at the mexican television table, please.

Girlfight. HeH.

AND underground cities. I thought only in fantasy...

There are even people who have appartments in the buildings connected to the metro so these people can, in theory, live their whole lives without ever seeing the light of day. Like mole people or Morlocks.

No offence taken Fae. I just needed clarification and Deva provided it. (Bless her).

About the girlfight... Sorry to dissapoint, but this may be that one instance when two females scrapping each other, does actually end up in snogging.

Hmmm....

Raise the ticket prices, Keggers!!

Bloody hell, Keggers, they’re fantastic. Wow. I like the Moon card.

Hell, I like all of them. Is this as far as you’ve got, or are there more? Jeez, finish them already, I’ll buy a deck! Cusm, hey, you're a bona fide Magick-dude, enlightened to the nth degree and all, what do you think? Er, or have you alrerady seen them?

I’m a he, by the way. Just call me Mister Bed!

In my esteemed and educated opinion, imbued with my authority over all things magickal and spooky, I hearby utter the pronouncement that they are quite keen.

Actually, have you got links to larger shots of them? I do really like the style you're working with there.

And with that, I'm off to fetch some pad thai.

We are rather fine, thanks Mazarine.
*Gak, slobber slobber, hunchback*

Moon, sun, high priestess... ah, they're all funky.

Dont you feel a little left out, not being in the lateshifting capital of the world with underground shopping malls? Grrs.

Hello, hello everyone...

I am confused. Who has underground shopping malls??

Bed Head
21:48 / 07.02.04
May does! May Tricks is the queen of a vast network of underground tunnels!

Or, that’s the way I choose to understand it. Upthread, Olula: Keggers posts a link to Montreal’s fab underground system. Which is May’s domain. Or something.

Good evening barbelith, I sincerely hope that you have had a pleasing saturday without extraneous difficulty or hardship, and entailing a variety of pleasing weekend distractions. Allow me to season your evening with a few questions of some significant import. If you were placed in a situation where you had to choose between a really happy monkey that could improve your luck and grant dubious wishes that never quite turn out right, or a jackpot lottery win, which would you favour? Similarly, if tigers were anthropormorphised and held jobs, how would you feel about working with them?

Olulabelle
21:58 / 07.02.04
I'm for the happy monkey because I quite like dubious and it's far cooler than the average lottery win.

May Tricks has underground tunnels? Does she know??

Olulabelle
22:03 / 07.02.04
Also, anthropormophised tigers would rock because all their scary I-want-to-eat-you-come-here-right-now-you-human-piece-of-meat tendencies would presumably be gone.

Bring 'em on, I say...

My college has underground tunnels, they're really quite nifty. Maybe cause I grew up in a basement, mostly, but I feel at home there.

Bed Head
22:16 / 07.02.04
Jackpot lottery win. Because I rather need one, right now. Let the monkey do it’s own thing. I mean, I'm sure it has it's own hopes and dreams.

(I allowed myself to be talked out of putting a fiver on Mali at 25-1, by the way. Gah. Last time I ever take logical, well reasoned advice over gut instinct. Just *had* to share that)

Tigers - no problem. Why should there be? The I-want-to-eat- you-come-here-right-now-you-human-piece-of-meat would make for great office flirting/christmas parties. And tigers have really pretty eyes.

Hi everyone.

I would venture that I'd would rather work with monkeys than tigers, I hear they're quite handy with typewriters. But I'd rather work with dolphins, if that meant I got to work underwater. I've always wished I had gills, however sadly mother nature has seen fit to deny me this simple pleasure. But mark this; that I walk among you land-dwellers as a stranger and an alien.

All of which leads neatly onto the fact that I need some sleep. I am planning to study tomorrow. Ho hum. Have a nice late shift everyone, somebody be sure to tape highlights of the lesbian catfight for me.

Ahh screw it, i just left two forums because i was on the net too much so i better do the good and proper thing and get back off the computer.

Really, i've made myself ill with this PC, it's causing me mental ruin. I'm turning the damn thing off now and will only be here every now and then, i've got a life to try and salvage.

Geez i hardly ever even swore on the other forums, my online buddies would be ashamed to see this.

Sorry your getting the wrong end of my mental breakdown barbelith i'm usually a pretty sane person.

I love you barbelith, but now i'm going to bed, later.

Ah, motorcycle emptiness. Oh well, lesbian robots on tv and Oh Brother Where Art Thou on the music box, so do I care? Cheers all, particularly warm and cuddly Maz and warm and pervy Fae. Now I shall revert to lurking mode for the rest of the Winter.

Kittens are cute. I prefer toy bears though. Yesterday I walked past John Lewis and saw some lovely bears but they're not online.
Here are some online bears:

The last one is my favourite. I like the feet.

Yes, Maz, please help to overcome the testosteronie influences that I myself have contributed to.

I've been a good cat-daddy with only one claws-and-teeth-means-tossing incident, today.

It's seven-thirty here, Anna. You 'sound' like my friend K feels. Be well, you.

They got a bath yesterday. That was some pretty hard core pathos- the crying, the moaning, the glomping onto mummy's shoulder in an attempt to avoid being rinsed.

Kittens in the bath? That's the best.

*hits head*

I've just been round to a friends, and I didnt realise that her dad had invited grownupfriends round. Except friends in a kinda neighbourly sense- a couple, both about 50-55. So there were the silences. And there was the "isnt the weather terrible" conversation. About 3 times. And a big conversation, one way, from the friendneighbours, about how they like best to kill rabbits. And I had to pretend to like cauliflour soup.

There are some times I really want to be in a big bouncy soft-play place, bouncing around squealing with lots of people. Today was one of those times.

There's photos of them during the bath too, they just haven't been developed. Anyway, let me give this a shot.

Please work, please work!
