That was, without exception, the most cringeworthy interview I've ever done. I think I want to either cry, or vomit.
Firstly it was a different person to the 1st interview. She kept going over the same question "why do you think you could do this job well?" and the real answer, of course, is that I dont know. Cause I've never done admin, organising stuff, working with computers, telesales, teleanything, and have no qualifications whatsoever to help me in these matters.
I sorta dodged the answer I suppose, non intentionally, by saying basically, "I think I could, because.... I like working in a busy environment, and like having something to do all the time" but she kept asking about all the finicky details of it. Being the entire nature of the job. COMPLETELY irrelevant.
At the beginning she'd offered me a cup of tea, and i'd said yes, and was produced with a tea-machine paper cup thing. At the end, she held out her hand for me to give her the cup to bin. I misunderstood and shook her hand.
<*cringe*
Better than the other way round, I suppose. Marginally. |
