My day's been so very up and down: Cleaned up the house so very thoroughly, bought all the supplies we needed and built a cat tree in the hopes of adopting kittens sometime soon, but given that it's winter, there just aren't really any. Then the professor I worked for this past semester called, and aparently the student evaluations of the class were very not happy, but on the up side, the house is totally clean and we went out for sushi tonight. Nothing like miso soup to soothe away fretfulness.

Based on my too-close reading of Vanishing Point and other sundry cultural artefacts from the frizzly era, ‘head’ is drug user or work of art, er, inspired by powerful psychedelics. ’Freak’ is short for speed freak and is a whole other scene, baby. Yeah, man! Thats’ right!

Oh, and a ‘juicer’ is I think, a much nicer word for alkie. Lovely Janis Joplin and pigpen were juicers, which is just great. I’m on the wine tonight myself, but I’m not going to change my name, otherwise I’d be Bed Juice, and that doesn’t sound too nice.
