Good luck Paleface... I have deadline next week and my blasted recalcitrant paper will NOT allow itself to be condensed any further, and it's at least 1,500 words over (over the acceptable 'stretching' of the word limit).

However, I am now going to put it away for the weekend and concentrate on less stressful things, such as what to get my sister for her birthday. Oh gawd...

Buying Birthday presents is my personal hell on earth. Probably relates to the fact that when I shop I never know what I'm going to buy and just walk round prodding things until something seems right. My brother is the worst person to buy for in the world so, yuk, sibling birthday's- I sympathise.

Oh and good luck with the work both of you!

I think it's pretty much done, but thank you! I am bound to sepnd teh next week panicking and faffing anyway (scuse typos, have gouged finger on a cheapo razxor)

Perhaps my sister would like a copy of New X-Men #141.

GRAHH!! Finally we have gotten that frickin' page to work! I am not yet ready to give up my tables in HTML, no no no...

I have just eaten three freshly baked sugar cookies in a row. If I had one more crumb, I would be sick. But as it is, I feel pretty good.

Back from Latin- wacky classics fun. Rothky, if you're still up, GO TO SLEEP!! Good lord, cupcake, buy some valerian or something. Cripes.

I ate a Twix for the first time in years today. It was yum, I think they may have to become a regular part of my chocolate consumption diet. What are sugar cookies?

Good lord - I haven't had chocolate in an age. I'd quite forgotten about it. For some reason I have the strangest craving for shellfish. Which may in fact be gay sex. Who knows?

Good luck, Kit-Cat - are you going to be entertaining in London, or just a swift in-and-out with the sister?

Sugar cookies are... my God, what are sugar cookies? They are cookies made out of flour, sugar, butter and egg. You roll the dough into balls & roll the balls in sugar and flatten them with a glass. Then you bake them & the sugar cracks all on the top of the cookie.

Well, I have to go to a wedding on Saturday afternoon (at which I will see my sister, as she is matron of honour, which seems absurd given that she is still only 21 (just) - perhaps I heard it incorrectly and she is maid of honour), and I told Dr Unpronounceable that I'd be back on Monday afternoon, but apart from that... I am, however, liable to babble about the Dutch. Are you around? PM me or something... would be good to see.

I am going to bed, as have Dutch lesson tomorrow. Good night...

How deliciously cholestrolized... I might try to make some, I'm quickly running out of ways to wind my Atkins-diet-housemates up.

As far as I can tell, British cuisine is based around lard, and US cuisine around sugar and red meat. I'm looking forward to creating a fusion form that is instantly and deliciously fatal...

Haus: (heaven forfend that yr still up at this hour, but...) you forgot the starch. Processed, fibre-free starchy starch, to be fried in the aforementioned lard! Chips, man, chips. Roast potatoes. Bubble-and-squeak. Our sausages alone are veritable mines of starchy goodness.

Ah, starch. God bless it.

I am up, watching my way through Angel Series 4 and doing some work, but will hit the hay soonly - my inspiration is running severely low.

In fact, between Haus, Kegboy and my good self, we could probably lay coronary waste to the Western world. The Axis of Evil is dead. Long live the Axis of Lard!

(I realise that this doesn't quite cover all the bases but The Axis of Lard And Spuds And Beans And Sugar And Molasses And Possibly Some Coffee-Grounds If The Rumours Are To Be Belived was a bit cumbersome.)

Well, I think I must - the chest pains are beginnign to kick in, which is usually a sign that Bedfordshire would be a good place. Of course, I will have to get up early to email this off, unless I do it now and give the impression that I am a psycotic insomniac...must find a way to schedule emails...

Night all. See you tomorrow (for the Americans, just) or later today (for the Europeans). Australians, I'm going to need soem help.

Not only does it tone those hard-to-reach areas without effort, but it apparently eradicates stretch-marks and even gives you a sun-tan. And a different bone structure.
