Im more of a redwine and crossbows religion myself although I may convert to burbon and trebuchets

Liger Null
01:43 / 07.01.08
I'm a bit of a Marxist, all cheap vodka and baseball bats.

This Sunday
01:48 / 07.01.08
I'm thinking maybe a move over to something that combines mint juleps and fancy pistols.

Liger Null
01:57 / 07.01.08
Sheesh! It's frigging late, and I have a whirlwind of activities planned for tommorow!

Good night everyone! I'm off to bed.

Saint Keggers
01:58 / 07.01.08
hand grenades and daqueries?

Saint Keggers
02:03 / 07.01.08
G'night Liger!

Shrug
02:03 / 07.01.08
Strawberry Sorbets and Scimitars.

Shrug
02:03 / 07.01.08
Wait what's happening?
*Goes back to read thread*

This Sunday
02:20 / 07.01.08
Ha! the interweb has been tricked into letting me back on.

Unfortunately, it has not been tricked into giving me either that mint julep or that pistol.

Princess
20:33 / 07.01.08
I am only 20.
Pacific, I have beaten you. You have fallen towards decreptitude a significant two years faster than I have.

I am youth and beauty personified. So long as Breefield doesn't see this, I will reign supreme as the undying boy king.

Also, my religion would be tia-maria and cheesewire. I'm not sure what that says about me.

Saint Keggers
20:39 / 07.01.08
Yes, but I believe once you marry Alistair Appleton you start to age a 5 times normal speed. so sorry.

Princess
20:41 / 07.01.08
But I thought rampant sex kept you young?

Shit.

Saint Keggers
20:42 / 07.01.08
You thought that? Wow. You really do love to be wrong!

hehehe

Princess
21:04 / 07.01.08
Wait...
sex doesn't age you does it? That's not what your saying?

Because if you are, then I am afraid. Very afraid. Having sex and being good looking are my two greatest pleasures in life.

I feel I should remind you that I am a naive young thing, and as an elder of the lateshift tribe you should be fostering nice feelings in me. So if this is a wind-up, it is an unethical one.

Saint Keggers
21:17 / 07.01.08
Ethics? Was I supposed to bring those?

No, I don think it ages you.

This is not exactly the most rigorously scientific study Barbelith has ever been involved in, but perhaps I should chip in to say that I live the life of a hikikomori monk and look, at a generous estimate, seven years younger than my true age. I'll be... choke... 35 in two weeks.

Princess and Pacific, please remember to be nice to your seniors at difficult times like these. Send them chocolate, comics and attractive, impressionable young anime fans.

Saint Keggers
21:22 / 07.01.08
sigh. I hate it when Lateshift makes me look up words.

Hikikomori

Princess
21:39 / 07.01.08
Wait. You want me to send Pacific to them?

Haloquin will not be impressed.

Saint Keggers
21:45 / 07.01.08
and Halogen will not be delighted!

Essential Dazzler

Would it be cheaper to post myself to Newport or just drive there?

Saint Keggers
23:48 / 07.01.08
I think it would depend on where you are, what type of car you drive and how small of a box can you squeeze into.
And when it comes to the post, remember, airholes are your friend.

This Sunday
00:38 / 08.01.08
I think it would depend more on which Newport is being considered. Intercontinental driving can be complicatedly expensive. You're either looking for an icy land bridge deal, or driving circles around a ship or airplane for a great deal of time.

But, yes, airholes. And some rations in case you get hungry.

Liger Null
01:15 / 08.01.08
But if you're driving to get a pack of Newports, the gas station down the street sells them.

And you will need ID.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
04:42 / 08.01.08
Shit. I just wrote 1900 words.

Liger Null
01:07 / 09.01.08
Is it Nanowrimo again already?

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:31 / 09.01.08
Nah, I'm just firing up my creative powers again.

Liger Null
01:39 / 09.01.08
Yay! Congratulations on that. Gould you pass on any tips to those of us trying to do the same thing?

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:54 / 09.01.08
Leave the house if you're having trouble being distracted by things. Last night, I went to a coffeehouse with my friend and took the laptop -- a change of scenery coupled with the speed I type (rather than more slowly handwriting) and lack of wifi internet access made me churn out 2000 words.

Tonight, I've cleaned the apartment and I have salmon steaming. I'm going to churn out 250 words while I wait to eat.

Liger Null
02:00 / 09.01.08
Thanks! I do find that I can focus more on my drawing when I take the sketchbook out and about.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
02:02 / 09.01.08
It's easy to hide behind home life routines.

172 words in the last ten minutes, I think I'll be fine.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
02:03 / 09.01.08
...aaaand the broccoli's just gone in, so I have ten more minutes.

Saint Keggers
02:26 / 09.01.08
Has everyone gone?

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
02:33 / 09.01.08
Just finishing up dinner, watching the Royal Tennenbaums, and about to do more writing. How are you?

Saint Keggers
02:40 / 09.01.08
Pretty good. Just relaxing with a glass of Pinot Noir and trying to design a tarot card. Ace of Cups

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
02:51 / 09.01.08
Sweet.

I could do with some wine, but I still have about a week before I'm finished with my antibiotics.
