Well, we're back to job action weirdness at work, but tomorrow is my day off -- at least, we're going out but since it would have been my day off, I'm not picketing so I'm not at work or on strike for thirteen days straight.

Speaking of new comikz. I bought B.P.R.D. Garden of Souls(?) which is good. It's nice just to see Abe hanging out in the sun, even if he is on the job. I also read and finished Invincible Volume #6 in work. I think I skipped the stuff between where I stopped picking up the singles (where Mark starts uni) but it's still a good jumping on point. what you have to do is own a two story house and cut paths in the floor of the second story. That way the giraffe can walk around all it wants and you can walk upstairs to pet it on its head.

I tried that. The long-necked motherfuckers wouldn't let the builders in the door. Even stooped, they can be fairly menacing.

It probably didn't help, intimidation-wise, that I'd hired a troupe of midgets to do the roof, either. But I guess you live and learn.

Hi, I am just in from my birthday night out. drinking tea and eating real Italian Biscotti, yum. Average evening but met a few crazy French people and my flatmates had left a present for me which turns out to be a scary mouldy cheese which looks posh but which gives me the fear.

i had a yam, apple, and marshmallow casserole. i should have used the little marshmallows because i used big ones and they swelled up and tried to climb out of the pan. but the casserole has a cool honeycomb pattern from the browned tops of marshmallows.
