I've hardly been getting enough rest since I got back from vacation, and even that wasnt all that restful. Ever since I changed my working from graveyards to mornings, its been different. Which, just about where you can notice a steady decline in my posts about Dreamers Magic, and Internal Dialogs.

During that same period, I saw similar thing happen do the Greater Occulture overall. The context changed.

I would fly into random encounters with people I havent met yet in person, take on psychic-cancer villains, along side these 'strangers' as allies, or else exchange potent magical dialogs. When it wasnt that, I'd run into something cosmic, go to The Invisible College, The Spaceport, and all sorts of busied places teaming with traveling conscious beings. Then to go online, or talk in person, and compare notes, knowing that I haven't been dreaming these things alone.

Thats when there still seemed to be alot of action. Outside of the dream focus, there was tons more dialog, and more interesting tales of personal growth seemed to be made public.

Recently, I've started getting really excited about the things to come, and working on all the tasks I can for some awesome projects. Then, little by little, I see that again, I'm not alone in that.

Lisa told me she had a dream about a dancing wild man, with tattoos everywhere. He spoke in riddles and in potent conversation. I've met this same guy. In my context, I took him in to be Shiva.

Shiva told me about what it is to be defined as such, as a god, and about all the ways in which is both honored, and misunderstood, in the same stroke.

He and his consort, Shakti were getting tattoos. The tattoos represented all the forms of the pantheon that we have created, for the great many of ways we seek to focus our attention on the transcendent.

This was both a ceremony, an honor, and a source of moderate pain, as the Occult god was by definition, undefinable, ... inconceivable in full. "I Am That I Am Not", no matter how much we become aware of and Understand, there will always be more just beyond that. The gods come to us in our own image, so that we can understand them, but are not that.

I choose to suspend all firm beliefs, but I operate under understanding that a well spring of great consciousness underlays every single thing and other consciousness in our universe and all places beyond. Both from Outer Space, and from Deep Self. Call me crazy if you want, but the majority of humanity is with me on this one, just not the majority of Occidentalists.

Great consciousness may underlay everything in the multiverse, so communication between pools of consciousness we know as Being happening in a transmundane way is not only possible, but probable. Imagine our minds are made of water and we are trading drinks when we meetup in other realms. You spill into me, I spill into you.

Some people never do this sort of thing, never flow, and we already know the words for that, sour stagnancy and disease. Once in a while it means fine wine and cheese. There can be no absolutes.

So, where does that leave us? I'm saying, something simple here. I Am Another You, or Namaste, "god in me bows to god within you".

We are coming up on the beginning of a Western Hindu Group Think, we call it Occultism, Dreamspace, The Hive, Global Zees, Astral Anarchy, ... The Invisibles.

The Invisibles. You already know what I am getting at. Our approach is different here, this is time for our version. We are endowed with superpowers, and I'm making an appeal to you to use them. I'm not asking anyone here to subscribe to any particular religion, but I am asking you to read this next line: There are superheroes in your midst and you may already be one of them.

Have you had dreams of a 'different' nature in which you end up in bustling places, talked to strangers you met later, or had dreams with friends you know, to find out they dreamt of you that very same night? Yeah, so have I, so have alot of people.

Where does that leave us now? What the hell do we do with this thing now?

I think we all represent some sort of Astral Anarchist task force, with no real intentions besides breaking down clots in the collective stream of consciousness, and also brefriending eachother, trading information, as well as challenging eachother. I don't feel there can be a true unified meaning to what we are doing together, or why, but its just what we are most drawn towards, we all have our own origin stories we can take meaning from. The point is, we should recognize what we have, and talk about it, in person, and get a few things straightened out.

It might be nice if we came up with storylines to be carried out in the Astral Realm, created projects that could be carried out on a group level. We all meetup in person, have a Justice League style summit on the state of this crazy world, and figure out the next move our SuperOrganism makes, codenamed The Invisibles.

I'm not saying that we need to work with eachother to attain Nirvana or create a Utopia, or even defend the Status Quo, but that there are Astral Battles going on that overlay the bloody ones happening right now in the world, and our participation can help tip the scales in favor of Justice and for whats right.

Just what is right and whats wrong is a neverending struggle already happening in all the comic books on the stands, so that one isnt going to be wrapped up nicely here either, its just understood, that on a greater level than each individuals storyline, a company-wide arc is happening, and there is a sense of understanding between us who naturally end up as allies.

I don't need to give you any hints on who the 'bad guys' are. Just remember, more than anything else, this breaks down into two things: a fantastic reality game, and a rescue mission for the sake of all sentient life.

I invite anyone interested in these things to contact me personally, and also to come to the occulture event esoZone next year to have a chat with me about this. In the meantime, I am going to look into creating a wiki-style community on this, and find a way to steal some fire from the heavens, creating a news log of community-wide Astral Events, as well as figuring out how to make a blog roll of Dreamers Journals. I would also like to find a way to link together individuals journals with tags, so help build a greater picture of a story arc once we get a bigger picture. After we have done this for a while, I want to get together a crack team of writers and turn our adventures into a comic book, and making the whole Invisibles meme come full circle.

Alright, maybe you feel me on this aesthetic, maybe you dont. Here is the bottom line, share your madness. The real news I care about is what happens in the deepest parts of your soul, not in glossy images of a state of emergency coupled with complacency.

You can fly without wings, just as long as you have Dreams.

So, hold on a sec... you want to make a Comic Book called the Invisibles about a bunch of magically-powered anarchists fighting the powers that be?

Am I alone in seeing a tiny problem with this?

So let me get this straight: You're posting this here because you have it in your head that lurking around the Temple forum is a crack team of astral warriors, who you hang out with on the astral, and fight astral baddies, and you and your astral buddies are so astrally inspiring you think you'd make a good comic.

Congratulations on your perfect encapsulation of everything that annoys me about this forum. Even the username is spot on.

Having read your post quite carefully cha0flux, I have a couple of questions.

Call me crazy if you want, but the majority of humanity is with me on this one, just not the majority of Occidentalists.

I'm not calling you crazy yet but who are the Occidentalists? Do you mean people who use interlingue or the movement to use it founded by Edgar de Wahl? Or do you mean westerners in general? Give us a clue please. Additionally, I'm not sure how the majority of humanity is with you.

Just what is right and whats wrong is a neverending struggle already happening in all the comic books on the stands

Not just on the comic stands. Moral philosophy, theology and the like are involved too, even though they're not in a comic book.

I don't need to give you any hints on who the 'bad guys' are

I think you do. Who are they?

Remeber there is no war, this is a rescue mission.
I think that would make a good line for "your" comic book.

Though to be fair i've had a couple of intresting dreams of late that seem to refer to a few things you've mentioned here.

and if not, then what? Am I not one of the chosen? Am I not allowed to join the ranks?

How do I gain access to this superhero club?

Why do you want to make your escapades into a comic book exactly?

And why did you choose the temple to post this in? If it's humanity we're talking about, I'm sure the guys over in the lab qualify too...

...right?

Ask yourself-

Are my dreams a new occurance, or do I just recall them better?

Was the change in the All,
Or just in myself?

What is the difference?

Keep your mind in the ether, but your feet on the ground.

OK. Not that I'm entirely sure I want to engage with this, but here is my response:

Get a grip.

I choose to suspend all firm beliefs, but I operate under understanding that a well spring of great consciousness underlays every single thing and other consciousness in our universe and all places beyond. Both from Outer Space, and from Deep Self. Call me crazy if you want, but the majority of humanity is with me on this one, just not the majority of Occidentalists.-

Okay. Your crazy. Whilst it is technically true that most surveys show around 90% of humanity to have some concept of deity, your pantheist view is far from universal. That however is just pedantry on my part. I'm much more annoyed by the delivery than I am by the lazy research. The whole "call me crazy" thing gets on my tits soooo massively that it is almost a convo thread by itself. These ideas aren't new to the people here."Life is a bit like The Invisibles" is not a mind breaking statement on a board that was originally about The Invisibles. Have you not thought that maybe it was an obvious train of thought\fantasy to entertain? Whilst I happen to think your talking bollocks (more on that to come), I'm more annoyed by the attitude your writing portrays. As a board, we do not need our paradigms shattered, my reality tunnels do not need broadening by you, you are not revealing a new and glorious world to any of us. Drop the Messiah complex, we can all fully comprehend your rather particularly juvenile fantasy.

Great consciousness may underlay everything in the multiverse, so communication between pools of consciousness we know as Being happening in a transmundane way is not only possible, but probable.

Firstly, words like "transmundane", and "occidental" come to think of it, make you sound like an ass. Your writing would be so much easier to understand if you didn't litter it with lame attempts at zeitgeist.
Also nothing "probable" follows a statement containing an unresolvable "may". Thats how probability works. You can't say "communication between pools of consciousness we know as Being happening in a transmundane way" is probable when we have no evidence about how likely it is that "Great consciousness may underlay everything".

Have you had dreams of a 'different' nature in which you end up in bustling places, talked to strangers you met later, or had dreams with friends you know, to find out they dreamt of you that very same night? Yeah, so have I, so have alot of people.

(advert voice)"Do you ever itch? Have you ever had a rash? Do you own genitalia? If the answer to any of this is "yes", then you probably have Syphillis." (/advert voice)
That is what that paragraph sounds like to me. People have weird dreams, they have had them for a long time. Thats why we have surrealism and psychodynamic psychology. If you check the Bible (Revelation has a few juicy bits) you will notice a whole host of fucked up, crazy ass dreams. Your brain farts are not hinting at anything. You are not Joan of Arc, drop the Messiah complex. You are drawing conclusions that are not in anyway implied from your experiences.

I'm trying really hard to be civil-ish in my response. Really, the sentences you see are so much more pleasant than the one I have to delete. But this shit just doesn't fly. For one, if you are really this free-weeling paradigm jumper, then there is no "right", there is no "justice". You can't use "objective truth" type things when your being all post-modern and cool. I'm sorry, thats just a rule.
For two, this whole theory actually sickens me. I am actually angry, I am actually deleting lines of expletives from my screen. Your idea for improving the world is staying in your room and imagining it better. Sure, maybe that has a part in "teh revolution", I'm all for happy thoughts. But to me, that just sounds like laziness. Sitting in your room, having some derivative fantasy, is not helping the poor, it's not saving the forest, it's not doing anything outside your own pretty head. And for you to hold up the psychic equivalent of World of Warcraft as being in any way equivalent to the people doing aid work, standing in front of tanks, actually laying pipes for water...
Well, it makes me angry, very angry. It devalues the work real people do. It allows the practicioner an excuse to do nothing. It turns the actual victims into a fiction in a teenagers head. If your theory is actually how I read it, then I revile you. I cast you into the outer darkness and hope it's full of emo-kids. You sicken me and make my mind feel dirty.
If I'm reading you wrongly then please understand that this isn't directed at you, only at my false impression of you.

Hey, for someone spouting an essentially pantheist/anarchist line, you seem pretty wrapped up in a pretty binary dichotomy.

You can fly without wings, just as long as you have Dreams.

Bite me you trite, sugar coated, unicorn. Don't presume to be visionary at me, it oft offends.

I'm sorry this has been quite so vitriolic, but I'm pissed off. I'm pissed off that I spend a year lurking, and when I do join I find brain-turds like this scaring off posters who's input I desire on my work. I'm pissed that I thought like this when I was thirteen, and now I'm reaching a stage where I can actually be magical without being a ass, I'm finding probably my best rescource for conversation sullied.

I'm not sure my posts are entirely coherent, I'm not sure there not deeply stupid. But, holy shit man, I'm aware I'm not the Logos' own personal fucking avatar in the world of man. I wish I was cleverer and had the words to actually critique this fully. As it is, I'm an incompetent n00b trying to improve but finding it hard because slowly but surely all the competent temple people, who I would have received instruction, from will have left, leaving only me and khorosho. And it will be due to SHITTY, UNINSPIRED, JUVENILE, FANTASY FILLED AND STUPID POSTS ENTIRELY DEVOID OF WORTH LIKE THE ONE AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE.

Actually, that was much nastier than it should of been. Chaoflux, I send apologies. Stress from other places is pouring into the keyboard and I was more than a little out of order in places.
The caps lock and the unicorn references where unpleasently overwrought and I'm aware that hyperbole might come off as just rudeness over the internet.
But still, that was a harsh and unpleasent response to someone who was essentially, despite the 11!23!ness, trying to do me a favour. Mucho sorries.

Keep dreaming, sometimes dreams are best left unspoken and lived. Its okay to dream, just bring them to earth and live them, not everybody will like what you have to say or perhaps how you express it, but dont ever stop living for your dreams what ever you do, start living for somebody elses cause or issues and your embracing someone elses truth and not your own, live for your own visions of things, integrate where you can with others, and cut those who would cut you, free to carry on there way.

"Fnording: A term used to describe the activity of people on occult internet message boards who have replaced their capacity for critical analysis with a series of soundbytes culled from the works of Robert Anton Wilson and the publishing output of New Falcon. This activity is pernicious as it often manifests as jovial back-slapping, in-joking and procrastination -- at the expense of ever actually doing a single fucking thing to help anybody (and I mean anybody that you could actually point to in a room) with the alleged magical abilities to tip the scales of reality that are under debate."

Translation: We have our own inside jokes and jovial back-slapping at Barbelith, and if you're still reading Wilson, you're just not cool. Any outsider who suggests actually doing a project will be ridiculed, as we are very busy saving the world (by smoking dope and reading comics).

Any outsider who suggests actually doing a project will be ridiculed

Um, not so. In fact there's a precedent for group workings, lots of stuff is actually getting done, the ridicule comes because the tone is annoying. Correct me if I'm wrong but elsewhere poorly phrased posts full of assumptions get challenged, so it is in the Temple too.

If I was chaoflux I would have come back and vigorously defended my corner, explained a bit more about it and perhaps addressed some of the criticisms levelled. I still don't know what an occidentalist is, and I am much less likely to consider getting involved in a project if it's proposed in a way that is eye-gougingly obtuse and presses all my annoy buttons.

Chaoflux, if you're reading this, consider rephrasing your project and giving it another go.
