I'm not quite sure I understand you. Do you mean, to periodically mod the summary so it shows CANON! some weeks and FILLER! others? It sounds like a fair amount of work, but anything that'd boost interest in the thread/series is fine with me.
Agree with Suedey that for all the brilliance of the manga, the anime is really where it's at. It's what got me into the magic of Bleach in the first place and while the key animation doesn't always do full justice to Kubo's superb knack for conveying kinetics and rendering expressive faces, the addition of colour, music and - most importantly - top-flight voice acting to his stories and characters gives them so much life I can forgive the odd lapse. Little things like Nel's sudden transformation back to child-size, and Pesshe and Dondochakka's Cero Sincrético attack, have been adapted really well; the music under the closing scenes of this week's episode did a lot for a slightly clunky montage; and hearing the voice actors returning to the roles of Kenpachi, Unohana, Byakuya and Mayuri reminded me how much they add to my impression of each character. Mayuri's seiyu in particular has the most wonderfully casual, insinuating, flutey voice that makes his back-and-forth with the similarly creepy-sounding Szayel Aporro a lot of fun.
The 'Where are you going?!' gag in the Arrancar Encyclopedia skit was pretty funny, even if they did nick it from Busou Renkin. And just in case anyone's been wondering why no previews for the last few weeks, they've been replaced with trailers for the third movie due out on December 13th, which Dattebayo can't be bothered to include in their releases. So there. |
