I wish I lived in England, then it would be tomorrow, and today would be over and I wouldn't be as bored. But sadly, I live in Texas, and it barely qualifies as late here. I just want it to be later so I can go to bed and make it be tomorrow.

Earlier this evening I told someone that I was "not bad" and they then questioned whether that meant "good". I'm still not sure if she was just screwing with me.

I try, but I always feel out of place in the late shift. I think it's because I still don't see myself as an established 'lither. Tell me, Stoatie, how does one get over that hump of being an unknown and into the fabled realm of Barbelith regular-hood.

At this point, I should probably mention that I'm not entirely sober...I should be in Barbelush, not late shift, shoudn't I?

(I just had to rewrite this whole post because for some reason I wrote eveything in past tense the first go round...)

well, i got up at midnight.
i have a swim-date planned for tomorrow, and a website to break the back of tonight.
things could be worse, but then things could also be a lot better.
i could have nothing to do except watch all the movies i have donwloaded, something i am getting well behind on. i had to dinghy the workload to get some movie action in the other night, and now i feel like its a bit cheeky to do that again until i have some real progress to show.

i have three richard harrison movies to watch, though, so the urge is strong.

Yeah, me... stayed longer than intended at this morning's delayed Christmas party, with the result that I didn't get up until about 8 this evening, and have been tidying and hoovering and stuff ever since, with sleep not even vaguely on the horizon.

But I care not, for in eight and a half hours I will have a puppy (hence all the tidying)!
