Ah! Glad I could help, Shrug. Speaking of Diana Wynn Jones, I just saw Howl's Moving Castle today and it was fucking ace. Where'd you get the audiobook from?
Please! I've been touching me ever since the credits rolled.
I think it's going to be one of my favourite Ghiblis. Up there with Totoro and Castle in the Sky. I really want to go again. Maybe watch the English dub this time.
An e-book hub on DC++. I don't make a habit of downloading books in this way though I just usually browse them to see if I'll buy them IRL. The narrator is especially annoying though but I find it hard to listen to audiobooks generally anyway.
I had a look for your Mirror horror story to return the favour but could only come up with an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? I don't think it's that one somehow.
Ah, yeah. I meant to respond inthread to that link. Don't think it's the one. I'm beginning to give up hope of ever finding it, unless I manage to corner ITV Head of Children's Programming 1990-? at a party somewhere.
Was it British made? Although AYAOTD? and Goosebumps were on ITV I think there was a third British made horror series made.
One had an episode where a boy trys to convince his sister to have a conciliatory meeting with a mutual friend. All through the episode you think "Oh they just had a fight". Eventually she concedes and goes to a graveyard. Initially she is angry and screams "Why can't you leave me Alone!" the big reveal comes when she adds "I can't be your friend anymore you've been dead for over a year". Spark any memories? The same series perhaps?
Don't remember that. I think it was British made, but I can't be 100%
I remember that his pal's been reading up on it and comes across a story of somebody else who smashed one of those mirrors. He calls him up and tells him not to do it, but he hangs up and goes toward it with a hammer. The pal runs to the house as fast as he can, but the door gets answered by the evil mirror doppleganger.
I found it really hard to go anywhere near a mirror for some time after seeing that.

Eh goodnight then Meludreen was distracted by something else. Sorry I couldn't help out. Fear not about the sextuple post the late-shift keeps all secrets.
Fun-size is the best size, because it means you can have way more!
I'm not ashamed to say one of the best days of my life was spent eating fin-size mars bars, drinking coke, and reading The Essential Spider-Man volume 4.
And just to, drunkenly, elaborate further - it was one of those days where, however tiny and unimportant, the thing you're doing is just the exact thing you feel like you should be doing.
Fishy? Or sea-dwelling Mammal?
Anyway, take thee to the corner, Suedey's computer.
So as always, I'm loving arty lateshifts, sorry i missed out on the arty bit of the last two nights. Bed Head, if you're listening, you make me jealous too.
I saw about half an hour of it, but I have the rest on tape. It was looking good from what I saw. I'll sit down with it once the second half has been taped too.
