But that would mean you'd get paid at the end of one month and then have to live on that until the end of the next month, when you get paid again, yes? So you have exaclty the same payment pattern...
Yes. It just "feels" nice to know, you get money for work, that you haven´t even done yet.
And there´s always the possibility that the employer changes the "pay pattern". They´ve done it before with other workers:
Normally, you get your pay at the 15th. But the employer had money problems and changed it for these people, so that now they get their pay at the end of the month. For many of them that was a really difficult two weeks.
And since my employer always has money problems, there´s the damokles sword possibility of them using this method on people like me, who get their pay in advance. |
