Snufkin's the best anarchist ever- he has this great speech in (I think) Moominland Midwinter where Moomintroll asks him what he does while all the other Moomins are hibernating, and how he can live without possessions. And Snufkin gives him this ace speech and it's all wonderful. I love Snufkin.

My advice is ignore the cartoon and try to find the stop-motion (or whatever they call it) puppet animation series which was a few years before... it's fantastic- I think they do the whole of Finn Family Moomintroll.
