STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
21:37 / 05.05.05
God, I'm missing all the fun... we have newly-restricted internet access. And no radio. I'm counting on you lot to keep me informed every couple of hours.

Mourne Kransky
21:37 / 05.05.05
BNP man looked very like Nosferatu there in Houghton, did he not?

Our Lady Has Left the Building
21:39 / 05.05.05
Oh this is great panto on the BBC now...

Mourne Kransky
21:41 / 05.05.05
Did David Dimbleby just tell Boris Johnson and Shirley Williams they couldn't have a bum fight?

Benny the Ball
21:42 / 05.05.05
That was fantastic.

Snow's playing a strange version of Risk all alone.

Our Lady Has Left the Building
21:43 / 05.05.05
He likes playing with himself. Bum fights for all!

They’ve just been talking about the constituency of Davis Davis on the radio, he only had a 1,900something majority over the Lib Dems anyway, but apparently the Labour candidate there is *extremely* despondent tonight, there is the suggestion that he might actually have lost his deposit, with all of his voters switching to the liberals this time.

Our Lady Has Left the Building
21:45 / 05.05.05
The Beeb certainly seem hopeful that the Lib Dems might take out some high-level Tories.

Bed Head
21:46 / 05.05.05
Well, hey, so am I.

Benny the Ball
21:48 / 05.05.05
decapitating them apparently.

Dimbleby is loving the ladies tonight, his little news whores, out there turning tricks for his pimp ass.

Eloi Tsabaoth

'Take out' in the mafia sense?
Davis Davis? Duran Duran? Doctor Doctor? Can't you see I'm burning, burning...

And Ruth Kelly does have an odd voice. I'd never noticed that before.

Really? Have you heard her speak before?

I was going to turn over to the Secret Election on channel 4 but I'm so in the swing of coverage now.

21:50 / 05.05.05
*yawns and stretches*

The excitement got too much for me back there...

What are they reckoning, then? A 6% swing in the marginals?

Our Lady Has Left the Building
21:52 / 05.05.05
Why is it that safe Labour seats are the first ones to declare?

Benny the Ball
21:52 / 05.05.05
Adam Afrear featured at a recent Economist debate. My housemate went along and said that although he was daper and up-and-coming he floundered badly against the other debators.

Eloi Tsabaoth
21:53 / 05.05.05
I think with the safe seats they just give up counting the votes halfway through.
"Sod this! Anyone fancy a pint?"

Our Lady Has Left the Building
21:58 / 05.05.05
They're talking about Straw and 'punishment', oh, it's in the context of the Iraq War. What a disappointment.

Rutherglen and Hamilton West, the UKIP candidate didn't even make 500 votes. Is it a percentage of the total vote or just a number candidates have to beat to get their deposit back?

Bed Head
21:59 / 05.05.05
Ooh, things you learn. Apparently the Tory candidate in Bristol West is Chris Martin’s uncle. An anti war tory who’s, like, down with the students. And in the most intelligent constituency in the country, ie the one with the most PhDs.

I have absolutely no idea how all that might translate into yer actual votage. It just sounded a bit rum, is all.

Eloi Tsabaoth
22:03 / 05.05.05
Danger danger! High Votage!

I'm not really adding anything to this thread, am I?

Our Lady Has Left the Building

David Dimbleby has accused Jeremy Paxman of tempting guests into his boudoir. Sounds like a lovers tiff to me, they might be sulking and refusing to talk to one another by the end of the evening...

Our Lady Has Left the Building
22:04 / 05.05.05
Anne Widdicombe: "Don't you want to know how we keep starting fires?"
Boris Johnson: "It's my desire, it's my desire!"

Ganesh
22:07 / 05.05.05
Sulky Blunkett! Hehehehhh...

Our Lady Has Left the Building
22:08 / 05.05.05
David Blunkett has just called Jeremy Paxman 'my darling'...

You're laying it on too thick Dead Ringers guy. Lay it less.

Ganesh
22:13 / 05.05.05
George Galloway ahead! OooOOOooo...

Our Lady Has Left the Building
22:14 / 05.05.05
Dead Ringers. Subtlety?

Supposedly Galloway is now in the lead in Bethnal green and Bow according to the BBC, Red Pepper don't think he's got enough votes.

Eloi Tsabaoth

Paint your own map? What is this, Children In Bloody Need?

Twat kissing photo of Tony 100,000 times. Hacker goes after Jack Straw.

The BBC is saying that Labour have won 5 seats, ITV are saying it's 15...

Eloi Tsabaoth
22:26 / 05.05.05
The BBC are CNN, ITV are Fox. Channel 4 is Cinemax.

Our Lady Has Left the Building
22:31 / 05.05.05
Phew, this is enough excitement for me. I'm off to bed.

Ganesh
22:33 / 05.05.05
Vauxhall too undramatic to show. Labour hold, but 6% swing from Labour to Lib Dem. That were us, that were.

(Still can't quite get my head around why Kate Hoey should be pro-hunting - in Vauxhall...)

Putney's gone Conservative... but whhhyyyyyyy?

Bed Head
22:42 / 05.05.05
Wow, some swing in Newcastle Central.

"At one o'clock in the morning, I'm always worried about my own seat".

Oo-er missus, etc.
