I have no idea what you're talking about. sigh.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Surely you mean "mockney Blur"?

Actually, they could fly upstairs back in the late '80s- Resurrection of the Daleks, was it?

Remembrance of the Daleks. Resurrection was the Peter Davison one which had Chloe Ashcroft getting exterminated. Me am geek. But, y’know, I think the only reason they haven’t flown anywhere much before has been the cheapy old bbc budgets. Even though they’ve always wobbled around like they’re on wheels, they’ve still got that groovy 60s, hovercrafty, wow, the future! design-thing going on. And anyway, they’ve always, always been able to fly in the comics. Dalek comics rock harder than a whole sack of bagpusses.

Fie. I kick mockney Blur.

Damn. Beaten to the mockers, due to dalek-related twittering.

Oh, that wqas it. Remembrance. That was the scary little girl one, though, wasn't it?

Lovely to see you too, Lord Stoatie of Stokie. I hear the scuttlebutt is that you're the next Dr Who after Eccleston goes off to a health farm to recover. Excellent casting! And the BBC might bring back Bagpuss as your K9esque sidekick in a cunning ratings ploy to sink Ant & Dec forever.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Yes. Instead of that Tardis central column I'm thinking maybe a mouse organ...

'The scary little girl one,' hm, that doesn’t really narrow it down, to be honest. The flying dalek scene is the only bit I can remember, and only that because that clip has been played so many times now.

The McCoy years are a bit of a blur for me. A happy, hazy kind of a blur, but still. I wasn't following the show so very closely.

I think she spent most of the story wandering around just being scary, then she zapped someone with lightning. It was quite odd, as I recall.

Although, ratings-wise, I'm sure I red somewhere that Doctor Who had beat off Ant & Dec... not sure if he did them both at the same time, but still...

Bed Head
22:27 / 06.04.05
Was he beating them for the full 45 minutes? It must’ve satisfied a lot of people at the bbc to see that. Only, I'm sure I read that the ratings rose and fell.

45 minutes? they've got staying power, I'll give 'em that. or maybe it was cold.

Bah! All this brit sci-fi pales in comparison to the power of Rocket Robin Hood!

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Rocket Robin Hood was cool, actually.

Rocket Robin Hood? Wasn't he the fox? Or was that the stupid disney version?

It’s a cartoon, though. Cartoons belong to everyone, they’re, like, international waters or something. Rocket Robin Hood counts as brit sci-fi for as long as we’re showing it.

Hmm looks familiar but not that familiar. I'm sure I used to watch it, as well.

Kind of preferred Roger Ramjet though. Cos he was daft.

Rocket Robin Hood is the greatest thing to ever air in any medium ever..including thought!!!

That is the ugliest baby I have ever seen. A shaved Alan Sugar.

I would so hope that kids skin pigment darkens, he ends up gay and coverts to judaism..his parents deserve that much.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

It's the part about "originally means 'holy'" that really gets me... it's like the parents aren't Nazis... they've just made a terrible, terrible mistake... one which will only become apparent when their kid goes to school and mixes with other kids...

Brigade du jour

And then he decides he likes peeing all over himself. Mind you, babies do that anyway.

Which brings us neatly back to the Pope. Do you think he's starting to hum a bit by now? A balmy, sunny day in central Rome, surrounded by millions of people ... phee-eww!
