I've long been of the opinion that there's a definite connection between Mexico's tradition of hallucinogenic drugs and its tradition of the best snack foods.

Anyway, you should all think yourselves lucky we lost an hour.

You REALLY don't want to know what I would have spent that hour doing otherwise.

I'm doing it right now.

I've been reading PUSSY...

No, wait...

I'm not kidding, either.

PUSSY is a magazine written by cats for cats. Full of racy pictures of gorgeous girl cats, articles about serial killers (a dog called Spike), features on eating and sleeping (“Sleep: is 18 hours a day really enough?”), and interviews with cat icons, PUSSY is the magazine every self-respecting moggie keeps stashed under his sleeping-basket – the Maxim of the cat world.

I’m going to put my clock back forward again and trap ‘dreen and ‘friend’ for all eternity in a FOLD of TIME. That’s romantic. And discreet.

Yeah, but I've still never figured out why Barbelith then hops an EXTRA hour, despite being based in the UK. It's a weird one.

Because the Barbelith clock is tied into the server's clock, and it's an American server. Whoever coded the time stamp stuff worked out the difference between the time kept on the server and our UK time, but got it wrong by an hour.

Which means we have this brief period of rightness, as summertime clock changing happens a little later in the US than it does in the UK - they're yet to stick their clocks forwars by an hour, so our wrong-by-one-hour Barbemaths is temporarily put right.

Something like that.

And I've just realised that my not bothering to put the clock in this room back an hour last year, figuring that I could easily live with it being out by an hour for six months, has just paid off.

Because, obviously, lifting it off the wall and pushing the little hand backwards a full circle was too much like hard work.

I didn't even know the clocks were going forward until Shaftoe got confused because his phone and my computer didn't match up. Then I realised that it must be BST and that the bloody thing didn't even tell me. I thought technology was meant to inform you!!

You know everybody, we can technically do anything we want right now and it's considered legal. An archaic loophole in the law to do with "Corpse Time". I hope you're all taking advantage.

Yeah? Tell that to Harold Lloyd.

Right, I'm changing the subject via my fantastic U2 joke. Never fails.

How many members of U2 does it take to change a light bulb?
Bono just holds on to the bulb and the world revolves around him.
