And we mustn't forget that the smell, in its parallels does actually literally crack open reality. But more like an egg than a fault line, y'know, with a bit of yolk leaking out. The yolk is the colour of every felt tip pen ever made. Of course.

I've got some gel ink pens that are fruit fragranced and sparkly. The blue one is orange. I mean, it smells of orange. To me, this is the very acme of the MINDFUCK.

That really is like yolk.

Everything I know about people I learned from pens.

Yes! And yolk is like yoke, which is what is happening to our freedom and self expression in such a closed minded society.

You weak minded drones are resealing the reality fracture that Operation:Mindfuck so subversively wrenched open! The Machines must be clunkily laughing their grating metallic mirth at your inability to escape the bonds of the Matrix.

Desist with your pen talk. Rebel! Before its too late.

Fucks sake! How do I size images then?

I say old chap don't you know a man in an orange suit pen would be incredibly mind-bombing. What! Wot!

Look at the *size* of that orange suited man's pen! And it glows! Glows I says!

You could write mindtwisting revolutionary graffiti in letters 10 feet high with a pen like that! Those grey suited hive workers will never know what hit 'em.

I hear you can cut people's heads off with them too! Danger-pen#4

Why stop at markers? Get a couple of those sample pots of paint from B&Q and go totally Jackson Pollock on the walls! Throw off the restraints of clearly delineated imagery, revel in the streak!

Then you could roll in the wet slitheryness and in some meaningful way you will be a medium and a message.

I think the fact that upon reading 'wet slitheryness' I unconciously went 'mmm...' is a sign that I really need to get out more.

Are you a snail in disguise?

I think we all need to get out more and deface the world with...um...turquoise felt tip pens.

But then everytime you passed a wall you would have to consider the slow drowning of humanity and the few possibilities you might have to swim though acts of wild subversion. I mean, cracking open reality is fine and all but do you really want to think about it when all you want to do is rest your weary head upon a pillow?

Do you?

Olulabelle

I have slashed my pillow, Zorro style, a gesture against the profiteering pillow makers.

grant: Yeah, I like stickers too. Stickers are fun. Is it really lame to be considering picking up the stickery baton at 31? Only, Barna is so pretty with the street-art and wonrdous pictures that I feel like joining in (tho' of course only in a small way).

If I was there Mordant, I'd scrawl on your face. I'd scrawl a prayer to the dead Pope on your face with a turquoise felt tip pen. NER!

Yes, the puce corner. I considered the burnt umber corner, but you two were being very bad, and that warrants the puce corner.

And in a vain attempt to bring this thread back onto topic, friends of mine discovered the joy of using potato stencils in lieu of stickers. Spend an evening carving a selection of motifs, then head out with a stamp pad and enhance the posters in the city centre. Fun fun fun.

Don't make me get Mr. Funny. You know what happens when I have to get Mr. Funny, and you know you don't like it. Behave yourselves and I won't have to put either of you two in the puce corner or get Mr. Funny. And there may be ice-cream.
