I have a mosquito. It's a piece of shit.

Mosquito is great, but he/she does take some time to level up. I'm currently only level 8, have a little under 42k meat and a 5lb mosquito companion who, on average, will stuck a between 5 and 10 hits from the enemy I'm fighting and give them to me.

On the meat subject, I've been doing a lot of wheeling and dealing with items, and have discovered a little extra. If you donate $10 to the game you get given the artifact Mr Awareness. Check out the player owned shops in the mall, these proprietors are offering between 2 and 8 million meat to buy this item from you.

The only problem I have is I'm still short of the damn 'rims' car component from Degrassi Knoll. Without it I cannot build myself a car, whichout which I cannot get to The Shore area.

I've also got a sapling and fertilzer, but nowhere to plant my sapling.

Spooky Forest, if I remember rightly. You can check on the Chat Room.

Asparagus knives can be got from the Haunted Pantry. Have a few goes at it and you should win one.

Tez, get chewing gum on a string and a hermit permit from the market. I'll let you figure out the rest your own self.

The chat is really frustrating, and the spooky forest seems uninterested in accepting my sapling and fertilizer.

Any other ideas?

grant- you need to use the 'hidden temple' map, or something to that extent... it'll show you where to plant the sapling.

Ah, by a very old tactic known - I've subsequently discovered - as Euphemism Begging. I headed onto the chat one night with a newbie question (being but a puny level 3 at the time). People of KoL are beyond helpful, and not only was my question answered, but I received three messages from players I'd never met, helping me out with gifts of 20k, 10k, and 10k meat respectively.

The chat server, however, frowns upon actual begging, so I suggest you emply the question asking, ignorant newbie stance. Many people have well over a million meat, and are more than happy to give you a starting boost.

This site appears to be extremely useful on the "Where do I/What do I/How do I?" front...

...oh, and for godssakes, sell your unwanted items at the Flea Market. Seriously. You'll make a small fortune.

So where is everyone adventuring? I'm curious. I've moved away from the pantry for the moment and am currently spening half my time handing the asses of Knob Goblin Chefs to their former owners, and then the other half running like hell from Knob Goblin Master Chefs to avoid getting my own ass handed to me.

A little thing I discovered by accident: The guy in the Gourd Tower in the Right Side of the Tracks will accept can-lids from the Haunted Pantry and give you a potion in return.
This potion will give you permanent stat boost. I got 30 enchantedness from one potion.

You need 5 lids for the first potion, 6 for the next, etc.

It is indeed. Hell Ramen and Goat's Cheese Pizza appear to give extremely high benefits, particularly the former.

For all those in need of extra aid, this site, this site, and this site are massively informative.

I'd also advise you join a clan. They confer large benefits to members, such as extra meat and adventures per day, and a gym for training stats.

Also, take jug-o-magicalness, suntan lotion of moxieness, and strength elixirs, whenever you can. I'm currently at 38, 53, 36 in my stats, largely by potion ingesting.

Somebody -- Tezcat? -- has to be 7th level.

So where is everyone adventuring? I'm curious.
Everywhere I can. The rats just chewed me up. I haven't been in the Barrel full of barrels yet, but have been in the Dungeon of Dungeons -- the Haiku dungeon.

The Shady Alley is the place to get liquor, which I haven't drunk because I didn't know it did anything good for you until last night, and the Pantry is good for food.
The best weapons, so far, seem to be stakes or spooky sticks from the Forest, but that might be different higher up. I bought myself a Tenderizing hammer and am looking forward to making some weapons.

Level 8 right now.

So where is everyone adventuring? I'm curious.

Currently splitting my time between being a Shore Whore, adventuring in the deeper levels of Cobb's Nobb, and adventuring at the Woods. I was getting my arse handed to me on a plate by the creatures of the Dark Elbow/Heart/Neck of the Woods until I purchased some kick-ass equipment and returned the favour. Finally finished the Deep Fat Friars quest.

A good general gauge of where to level is to go to the Council of Lathing. If a quest appears there then the game considers you ready to adventure in the relevant location.

I've been fighting Chefs too, trying to build enough muscle so I can go further down the Goblin Knob (Jeez, that sounds terrible...)

Tez, as level 8 and quite probably the most powerful of us all, I think you're duty bound for forming a clan.

I'm only about level 5, currently I'm working towards taking out the boss bat. I've bought a skill to make monsters drop more meat and I'm saving up for a similar skill for items. None of that taking of meat handouts for me malarkey.

Meludreen, I'm working the Boss Bat angle too, but I can't figure out WTF you use to protect yourself from bat guano. Clue?

This game is so weird.
