Ah, by a very old tactic known - I've subsequently discovered - as Euphemism Begging. I headed onto the chat one night with a newbie question (being but a puny level 3 at the time). People of KoL are beyond helpful, and not only was my question answered, but I received three messages from players I'd never met, helping me out with gifts of 20k, 10k, and 10k meat respectively.
The chat server, however, frowns upon actual begging, so I suggest you emply the question asking, ignorant newbie stance. Many people have well over a million meat, and are more than happy to give you a starting boost. |
