You can combine two of the same items that you'll find in the back alley, or you can get a different item from monsters at the bat hole entrance. Either way, you'll get stench protection.

Not just yet. You can start a clan with <500k meat, which I have, but the clan equipment (Gym, Meat Tree, Goodies Chest, etc.) is very costly. I don't think anyone should seriously start thinking about setting up a clan until they have at least 1 million meat, unless you are fine with the clan being rather underpowered and conferring no benefits upon its members.

Give me another week or so of play and I should hav ethe necessary funds by then.

Yes, you can leave your clan. Go in to the clan hall, pick the membership roster. Scroll down to the bottom. There's a button that says Leave Clan. Press it.

I am also in a clan (god knows why they recruited me), but I'm ready to dump them in a second when our clan is ready.

I was thinking of putting a couple of things I've now 'out-adventured' up for sale there this morning ( I woke up at 6.30 especially, y'know, ) but I couldn't see anyone parting with the insane amount of meat that was apparently the going rate... Also, as a quick tip, I got pretty rich selling Knob Goblin Firecrackers at the Flea Market.... you get them quite often at the plains and can sell them on for 1000+ meat.

Chef's Hats go for crazy fat stacks.... 5000-8000.

Actually, it's not exploitative... High-level users stop wanting to waste adventures on the plains after a while, and they have a special store where they can exchange some low-level stuff for special items or cash. So everyone wins, really.

Also, chef's hats sell well because they're able to be used to make chef-skull-in-the-box, and traded at higher levels.

I have horrible meat management skills (insert rude joke) and make 10K per day, then spend it on extra-spicy bloody marys. Drunk.

When the clan is started I'm going to stock our stash with a large variety of items, including Fairy Gravy. If you can't wait that long, I believe they turn up naturally in the Haiku Dungeons.
