Ok!

Last night, I put the finishing touches on my election collage, the centerpiece of which is the POTUS sigil. I will make that the focus of my final, fully eclipsed moon ritual.

Also, I am going to ask for GEK's help at last, with a cookie bake-off beginning tomorrow night and ending election eve.

Finally, I am making a big, toothy, obnoxious, red, white, and blue smiley face that I will tape in the rear window of my car on November 3!

And now, to the GEK thread...

KERRY WINS! KERRY WINS!!!
just practicing...

I voted today at 6:10 am, the second person in my 'hood to vote.

I took out Chad's sigil last night and reflected on it before I went to bed. This morning I put it in my pocket and will carry it with me all day and all night, doing a little ritual at about 9 pm tonight for final results.

The first words out of mouth this morning upon waking were "Kerry wins." I repeated this over and over (and similar statements) as mantras all morning, as I walked to the polling booth, and as I exited and walked down the street to the subway.... everyone at the polling area was so excited (and so clearly voting for Kerry). This is a historic day.

I'm already envisioning Bush's concession speech. I can literally see and hear it in my head, very clearly...

(Trying to conceal his frustrated smirk with a fake smile, speaking in his high reedy annoying voice):

The people have spoken. And that's what's so special about freedom. I congratulate John Kerry and wish him well. God bless America.

JOHN FORBES KERRY IS THE 44th PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!!

Now we can all rest easy for the next 4 years.

Um, no. And no. Kerry's victory might help slow the rising tide of global corporate dominance(he won't be as bad as BushCo), but the worst thing that could happen is that people get lazy and assume that he's going to save us all. Many of the same fundamental problems will still exist so it's critical that we all remain vigilant and continue to focus whatever energies we can at the archons.

Very true, LVX, I'm sure Imp didn't mean it in a reckless way. But it's still great that Kerry won and we don't have to deal with Bush's idiocy anymore.

I totally agree, LVX. I was shouting a cliché proclamation of joy.
