[hops up and down excitedly] I know a trick for spelling "stationery"! It is what you buy at a stationer's!! Do you see? Not a "stationar's"!!
Sorry. I love that, because 'stationery/ary' was one of the things I had a blind spot about for years and I usually gain quiet self-esteem from being good at spelling (sad, I know, but I try not to project it too much onto other people). But, come to think of it, possibly I learned it here, in which case, who cares? |
