What's Monster House? I'm imagining a fantastic reality TV show...

Crazy people reconstruct the innards of a house based on a theme. I just got done watching one where the theme was a retro-future house. There was a shiny aluminum UFO that was 'crashed' into the ceiling in two rooms, a tube system with those pods that fly around, all kinds of cool stuff.

I think it completely annihilates the resale value of the house.

Monster House is a reality show..something like WHile You Were Out Or Trading Spaces. 5 people go into someones house and give it a theme make-over. Ripping out walls, lighting, rewiring anything. The one today was a TIki concept. They rippedout the fireplace and used flameproof foam and chicken wire to make a Tiki God whose eyes light up and smoke and fire rise up from its mouth...all on motion detector. They redid the pool in the backyard to give it a lagoon feeling complete with shipwreck and monsoon rainstorms at a flick of a switch. It was amazing.
