I'm not a girl,
Not yet a woman
All I need is time,
A moment that is mine...

I wonder if Dr Phil's seen Crossroads??

the song on the tv said "you're so vain, I bet you think his son is about you." and the funny thing is I did.

Strange Machine Vs The Virus with Shoes

Ultimate breakup song anyone? I suggest, “she’s gone” by masseurs (sorry) Hall and Oates. Kablam!!

Gosh Panarchy, you just pluck these ideas from the air and really serve them up on a silver platter. Tell me, is there a reason we're discussing break up songs?

Wave Of Mutilation by the Pixies

don't know about reasoning but It's too late, by the streets, and Ok I did have to go and check the song name on the cd cover and have now had to play it have'n gone to all that trouble getting up and beeing fed up with the South American (is it Argentine?) football commentary and all.

Just gone to put the kettle on for coffee and discovered I have both wine AND beer in the kitchen! there is also a strange fishy smell in there which is a tad concerning.

Saint Keggers
02:14 / 31.05.03
ewwww...what strange coffee you have.

sTe
02:20 / 31.05.03
It's not the coffee, I've already done a quick smell investigation and I reckon it be some unsavoury (must be sweet) items loitering in the bin.

Now onto Don't Mug yourself, and on reflection it's much better 'breaking up' song

2 comics per page... how many comics should I have before trying to put out a compilation book? It'd be arould the same size as those longer width than height Garfield books.

sTe
02:50 / 31.05.03
do you have a whole 2 comics per page, so it's like a multi page flip book type affair on every page? If so, I'd keep it down to no more than about 20 otherwise it's gonna be too thick to shelve it.
Or are you talking comics in a Calvin & Hobbs, Too much coffee man type sunday paper type manner?

Tell you what can you scan them on, then we can make proper suggestions (they're not all Pirate based are they, you've got to have a good balance of ninjaness in there too you know)

Saint Keggers
02:56 / 31.05.03
STE: These are the ones Im refering to. There'd be 2 side by side per page.

I think that Anthony Stewart Head should be the next Dr.Who.

Damn Kegboy they were damn fine (I'm in a children of the damned mood). I say go for it, I really do, "go for it" see? I think one a page is plenty, especially considering the fine pictorials, people will snap 'em up - no doubt! Maybe you should aim for 50 with a preface by a well known friendly author and a letters page from people who've seen the preview and all love it and can't wait for the full colour edition.

It's quarter to six now, so I'm off now to dream special dreams as there's lots to be done before the morrow. who is this A S Head character, and what's he got over Silvester McCoy?

Saint Keggers
03:50 / 31.05.03
A. S. Head played Rupert Giles on Buffy The Vampire Slayer...he was also the famous Tasters Choice "Coffee guy"

If you know those roles you have no need to ask "and what's he got over Silvester McCoy?"

I've just started watching Buffy... and seeing Giles kill someone made him really cool for some reason.

...how was the pear wine? I have Gösser. Austria's best beer!

Baz Auckland
04:08 / 31.05.03
Ooh! And the best breakup songs are Old Shoes and Picture Postcards by Tom Waits, and..well, a lot more Tom Waits...

...or Grapes of Wrath! (anyone remember them? REALLY sad, depressing stuff.)

Saint Keggers
04:10 / 31.05.03
Pear wine was good...but for some reason ended up as Pear Champagne...or Sparkling Pear Wine if yo want to get all snooty about it. Even Micheal Jackson never so much Bubbles in his mouth!
Its been years since I've had Glosser.

Homemade?

How are the liquor stores in Quebec? Is it just wine that you can buy outside ze government? Or do you get special CSIS deals?

I want a diplomatic pouch, goddamnit!

Saint Keggers
04:20 / 31.05.03
Yeah its home made.... Its the first time I've ever used the pear tree in my yard for wine. I've made rhubard wine which was soo horrid it may be considered a Weapon Of Mass Distruction.

You know Im really not sure about the liquour stores here...I usally stock up at the duty-free when friends cross the boarder. I could find out for you.

04:22 / 31.05.03
Nah, just curious... Rhubarb wine? Sounds.. odd..

How's Leonard these days?
