Hugs for you, Bear. And rugs. And ruggles.

Oh bear, I am sorry. hugs for you.

She didn't even notice me, though

Ha. There goes your butch-dyke status! Are you officially a hippy now?

That's a sun-filled thought all of its own: sfd tripping along the cornish coastline - macrame hat and patchouli oil in hand.

Hugs to bear.

Something that made me ridiculously happy last night was seeing this commercial of a barely dressed man hopping and jumping and dancing around in the most giddy way, with the goofiest grin on his face. I want to record that commercial. And then I will study the dance and imitate it so I can make others just as happy as I was made through dance!

No hugs for bear, he doesn't deserve them.

If I was anymore drunk you guys would make me cry

It's all good though, what the good Lord takes with one hand he takes with the other.

And I am drunk, drunk as a skunk -

Is anyone drinking tonight?

Screw you guys then.

If I had my plank

I'll be sober by the time i get there, honest.

Anyway its Monday people don't drunk on Monday, it's all cool. I have Buffy CD's as a reward. God I'm sad.

I was just about to say what a good idea that was and could I join the bear and the platformed bengali for a drink and then I remembered that I don't live in London any more.

The butch was just playing it cool, okay? Worried about her rep as biggest daddy on the block being ruined. We'll no doubt arm wrestle for the title at some point.

I am not a hippy. Now please excuse me, I have to go back to the sun I'm painting on a rock, as a Winter Solstice decoration.

Um, feeling fluffy again, so maybe I am a hippy now after all. But after seeing the following this morning, how could anyone not feel huggy:

I was driving near Zennor - absolutely astounding countryside, btw, especially in a snow flurry - and on the road, over the horizon, appeared a car, moving at about a mile an hour. It was being driven by a very, very elderly woman. Waddling alongside the car were two rather barrel shaped, black labradors, wagging their tails like mad. As I drew up, I slowed right down (hitting the dogs would have caused more damage to the car than them, I suspected) and the woman gave me the biggest smile and mouthed, "Thank you". I realised this was her way of taking her two doggies for a walk.

Wonderful.

That is wonderful, in a really surreal way. I want to walk my imaginary dogs by imaginary car.

Last night I got to see a friend who I had been really worried about. He was ok, and made me laugh. That's good enough for me.

I made pancakes! yum

For the first time in about 9 months, I have job! Not some shitty-ass temp job that pays peanuts, no, a proper job with holiday pay and sick leave and all that stuff. It's only a six month contract, but that'll do, pig.

Yes, Virginia motherfuckers, there is a Santa Clause.

SNOW!

Ok, I am such a child, but I do love the snow. Obviously, we had some where I live today. Big fat flakes. Very pretty.

I went and embraced the base at Menwith Hill with women! One of them had a hand-sewn banner saying Pennine Peace Wymyn Magic! They all got cross with me for saying "there's some people up ahead" and snapped "women"! Loads of them were really old and had been at Greenham forever! I am part of herstory!

You lot all have to come up next year. (Well, all those sans boygerms anyway.) We are going to tear down the fences with our bare hands, apparently, to commemorate them doing it in Greenham in '83.

I got out of the house for something other than work/school today! It felt so great to walk around the city! I bought Henry Rollins Comedy tikets and Filth#6!
AND I studied in some hip café full of hip people! AND it was so much better than sitting at home trying! Weee! I am feeling very very good.
AND Stoatie may be coming to Canada in the spring, which sounds like fun and a half.

Went to a cafe today, where a man of interest was crooning latino love songs, accompanied by a guitar player. The fatigue upon me, I went home before he was finished, only to have a phone call asking me out to get drunk. I sayeth, "Oh, next week, verily," and he sayeth, "alldidle-o-right-y." Before the cafe, went to a gathering consisting of Greenlandic people, before dinnder was served met nice people there and upon conversing with a cool girl, found out we both had attended the same class in elementary school, however, we couldn't remember each other, and we also discovered that we were relatives. Exchanged phone numbers. Oh, and the sun was shining. Cold weather but absolutely gorgeous.

And oh, I was just admiring the pictures your mother sent me.

She looks great in crotchless panties and peephole bras.

I may have just convinced my brother to travel with me to Ireland for a couple of weeks in the summertime! I feel very inspired.
If I'm not planning a trip, I feel like there's something missing in my life.

I got the next four pages of Jenny Everywhere art from Nelson Evergreen yesterday, and they are just... Zellwegger, frankly.

Plus, one of the most aesthetically perfect human beings it's ever been my joy to set eyes upon emailed me the other day, with questions about what it's like living in London (clue: I'm going to tell them it's *great*).

That, and the prospect of some money, and Vetigo Pop: London #2... It's all very PhilipBondtastic at the moment.

Sounds like Flyboy's got a crush! That is so sweet....

I joined the Queer Pagans the other day, and have been getting messages from some lovely people, some of whom live in the West Country. I might be meeting some wierdos soon, then, thankfully.

And I appear to have found a goth/sm bar in a local town! Yay! Me's going out for a drink tonight....

Vertigo Pop #2. Yes. I am such a PB geek.

And 8 Women. Go.

Was wonderful in itself; seeing it with the absolute perfect person, priceless.

Which was part of a lovely lovely day:

New comics, being treated to greasy breakfast just for carrying a minidisc player about for weeks, bringing huge joy to someone, couple of quiet pints in my new favourite pub, discovering lovely 'winter ale', chatting to an old mate, 8 women, going to a club for pretty much the first time *ever* on my own, with vague arrangements to meet people (a big thing for me) bumping into people I hadn't seen for ages, having a really heartwarming chat with someone, dancing like a loon...

A Good Day. I am Appreciative.

And one of my best friends surprising me today with a phone call from New Zealand. I've been bouncing ever since.

And Flyboy the best thing is you won't even be lying, London truly is a great place - I've been homesick but I'm in the proximity now and that makes me happy.
