I love broadband. I've vaguely heard about Ladytron for a while, and Haus reminded me of them, so I plugged the name into Kazaa a few minutes ago, and already I have nine tracks.

When the RIAA come to my door, I will of course blame Haus.

One of the best bands Australia has ever produced, pretty much. Warren Ellis, violin (stalwart oz player, though he lives in France, one of the Bad Seeds), Mick Turner (who does a fair bit on the Chicago scene, iirc) and Jim White, who's played with a fair few people, from Cat Power on. Their website is here, and they rock nuts. So should you get a chance to see them, do.

Back, full of pie. You can go to most diners and get a piece of pie to go. I had Peanut Butter Mud Pie- much chocolate, much peanut butter, and much whipped cream. It's pretty keen having a super great diner about a minutes away.

..was studying Renaissance and Reformation (1450-1648) which is fun. Should be studying American History (500,000BCE-1865) which is less fun, but I just got home from work 30min ago and have to go back in 6.5 hours so goddamn it, I'm going to bed. Ha!

Here, but off to bed soon. I'm going down from university tomorrow, and thus must pack my entire room into boxes to go in the back of a car, and transit myself out of here. I also have to give up my super-broadband net access for a month and a bit. That will be killer; might be here a little less, but probably not much, and will probably also be wordier when I do drop by. Tired, and need to be productive tomorrow. A good term though, overall. Looking forward to the rest home will bring.
