I live directly across the East River from the WTC...I've been watching this for the past few hours now...it's utterly terrifying. from where we are, we can see things like people falling from the building. we watched the first building collapse...we can't see anything anymore...it's all invisible, a massive white cloud of smoke. I am terrified...I can't explain what it's like to see this so close up...when the second building went down, I swear, I could FEEL the people dying. and then with the Pentagon...this is terrifying...I don't want to think about what life will be like from now on...

Military helicopter, eh?

Well, I am listening to 99.5fm WBAI and they had witnesses call in. One reported seeing a dark green military jet deliberatly slam into one of the WTC towers. I haven't heard more on this.

Lionheart just told me:

"state department has reported explosion. has been evacuated. all federal buildings have been evacuated."

I wonder if they'll declare Martial Law? I know we've been under it since 1933 but may be they'll make it public this time. I mean c'mon, the commerce center's been hit, the military center's been hit.

Okay. Reliable reports suggest that it wasn't a third plane in Washington. So where the fuck is the reported third hi-jacked plane?

Oh, and one of the reasons news is so vague, so few casualty reports, etc - uess where Rudi Giuliani's NY Command Centre in case of disasters was? Tower 7, the WTC. Fuck.

Even that's not as big a problem as having EVERY airplane in the vicinity circling the field. That's too much traffic for radar to track safely -- the pilots are going to have to be scanning their area constantly (left right up and down) to avoid running into one another.
It's incredibly dangerous.
