So, while I'm sitting here trying to get my new phone to work, I think I can comfortably declare Alltel the worst phone provider I've ever dealt with.

Saint Keggers
01:44 / 08.11.08
I've never heard of them.

We tried to get my mom, my brother, and me all on the same account, to make it cheaper and such, but they were the only company in the States that would service all our different geographic regions. And, they took away my free nights and weekends for Canada, deprive me of sensible customer service, and generally irritate me, in exchange for providing wide coverage.

Saint Keggers
01:56 / 08.11.08
wow. Thats horrible.

This thread is less weird if you don't think deletia is a poster who fell to the wayside. But still, what a way to walk yourself into an evening on the 'lith.

Was that way back when people had multiple suits then? Sure wouldn't see that kinda thread-opener nowadays. And sure as hell not the mostly sane responses that immediately follow.

It's sunday night, I'm about 70% blueberry wine. Are any of the regular ilk around?

This Sunday
02:42 / 10.11.08
I'm around. About to shoot my phone and scream, but around.

Saint Keggers
02:49 / 10.11.08
Oh dont shoot your poor phone. Just call your peoples responsible for the phone. Get their names. Ask to talk to their boss. Get his/her name.. Tell them you can go to other companies. Heck, if that doesnt work, just start screaming "Roswell! Roswell!!" Might not work, but it should lead to much fun!

This Sunday
02:53 / 10.11.08
Not so much the service, this time, just the content of a rather lengthy phone conversation, now thankfully ended.

How is this blueberry wine, then/

I'm in the process of discovering that Hormel chili's not actually too bad if you throw some fresh chilis and hominy into it, and have copious sides of Doritos and Jim Beam.

03:12 / 10.11.08
I think you'll find that almost anything improves with copious amounts of Jim Bean.

The Blueberry wine is good. Its one of those wines where if you dint know it was blueberry you would be asking 'what the heck is this?", but the moment the secret ingridient was revealed you'd say "OFCOURSE!!"

So, a bit like plastics in The Graduate, then.

I'm going to have to seek some out and try for mysef. Seems like a good deal.

Saint Keggers
03:35 / 10.11.08
(ducks head in shame) I've never seen The Graduate

This Sunday
03:55 / 10.11.08
It's definitely worth a rental.

I'm currently sitting on Wild at Heart, which I haven't watched it ages, at of some weird neurositic conviction that I have to be in just the right mood to see it again.

yet another film to add to my 'to watch' list.

Blueberry wine you say? Takes me back to when I + Ms Nolte went to Slovenia and had borovnica - yummy blueberry liqueur, perfect with those salty, fatty meat dishes they are so fond of down there. So, is good then?

WOOOT!? Not watched W.A.H.... poor fella. Flying witches, Nick Cage, oooo it's all too much.

Saint Keggers
04:07 / 10.11.08
But I hate Nick Cage!

C.E.Nolte: Yeah, its great. Its homemade by my uncle so its strong enough to drop a horse. If it doesnt die before then, I think my liver will out live me by at least three years.

This Sunday
04:12 / 10.11.08
I think maybe I should consider having a horse-liver transplant. For back up purposes.

Anybody still up?

I am!
How's things?

Liger Null

Terrible. I entered an art show on Friday, and I realized today that instead of sending in my resume like I was supposed to, I sent in the first page of my outline for my speech class. I am a walking laughingstock.

Saint Keggers
02:43 / 11.11.08
As long as you dont hand in your resume for speech class.

Liger Null
02:52 / 11.11.08
No, I have the resume right here, which is how I made the dreadful discovery of my error.

Liger Null
03:04 / 11.11.08
So anyway, how are you Keggers?

This Sunday
04:15 / 11.11.08
Just found out I'm freed up tomorrow, so I'll be up tonight.

Much luck sorting that out, LN.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
05:16 / 11.11.08
Had to write a bitchy email to my supervisor yesterday requesting that in the future, if she feels the need to make changes to my work schedule, perhaps inform me and confirm that those changes work, rather than hoping I happen to look at the schedule (which is typically full of errors and weird inaccuracies, and is traditionally fairly regular for my hours right now) and then make like Sherlock Holmes to uncover whether or not the schedule was correct.

Had someone read before I sent it to make sure it isn't too bitchy, but I imagine there will be some small fallout. Sigh.

Actually, generally at work today I was some weird rage-a-holic drunk on rage-a-hol.

This Sunday
05:27 / 11.11.08
Well, that sucks. Is there a chance of getting the schedule sorted to everyone's satisfaction?

I sort of stitched everything in my schedule together in a blanket of events, so I do a wedding on the way to a reading in the same town I have a shoot in (and one of the models owes me a cheeseburger and coffee, so that's one meal out of the way, during all that). But, I have no real clue as to actual days, hours, et al, and am hoping somebody will always be around who pays attention to those things better than I do.

Thankfully, airlines send reminder e-mails.
