Because while I just read the last couple pages of Final Crisis and had no idea what the fuck anyone was on about, but I could see that. I did snicker at MFrietas I just analised issues 4 through 6 and Resist as well (although I realize, 2nd language).
Like so many things, context is everything, if you listen in on a conversation about something you're ignorant of, it can sound odd. But not knowing and reading this stuff sounds nuts, like this mashup of the last page:
