Well, they are avoidable, Tom. Many of them are avoided by screening out some people at the applications stage, and others by dialogue, communication, sharing of sources... I thought, round about page eight, that CD was going to pull this one out of the fire, myself. However, the one thing he apparently couldn't retract, and fought for the hardest, was the one thing that was really going to cause problems. However, there was an impressive degree of harmony about the discussion, which was good to see.
Anyway. I'm OK with volunteering to advance banning decisions. If Randy is prepared to take it on, he'd be a good choice, I think. We should hack out minimum standards, in terms of confirmation and timescales, but I think they are pretty much emerging from these encounters. |
