it's been a yuck day. i've decided to fail a class rather than do the research, i made out with someone i didn't want to make out with, and i've eaten only junk food. i'm glad the day is coming to a close and there's a nice late shift at the end of it.

no, it's music in the Arab world. i missed something like 7 of 9 lectures, and i could still pull a good grade by giving a good presentation on Jordanian music tomorrow but i haven't got the heart.

Im doing great Strix, for I have just found that the best end to a hard days work is wine.. in mass quantities.

Today consisted of the romoving of the of the wall panels, the danacona (sp?), the layer of much very lead filled paint, the old (1932 according to the newspaper attached to the backside) wall paper* and the gyprock (drywall) underneath all that.

*they really knew how to make wallpaper back then. Gorgeous! I took photos of one of them but the second layer was saddly too damaged for any photos.

Im tempted to go into photoshop and remove all the effects that 71 years beahind a wall has imparted upon it. Then take it to a printers and see how much it would cost to get wallpaper sized prints made.
