Well mine has sparked the creative talents of my spouse (I just asked for help recording my voice) and now he wants two more days to finish the mp3.

He's having such a great time and it will be a fully constructed song sprung from his digital skull I dare not take it away from him.

Ok, I'll record it and send it to you by Sunday. I don't have any ftp information, and have no idea what that actually means... do I upload the files there or email them to you? Sorry, I've never done this before!

I'm also worried about being rubbish, but I guess its better to be rubbish together and take a risk than not and always wonder... (mental note to self - remember this.)

Everything's ready to go... all mixed, I'm just waiting on one person to tell me what his six-word story is and the artist/track name for his composition is (and PM has been sent, so if you're wondering if it's you and you don't have a PM in your inbox, it's not).

Also need some addresses; PMs sent for those as well.

I've taken some mixing liberties with integrating the stories and the (usually first 10 seconds of) songs. I've got CEP, which lets me do some interesting things with the independent story/song recordings (particularly the ones I recorded, as they're very "dry").

I am filled with (a) anticipation and (b) dread, (a) because I can't wait to see what you think of this; I think it was a decent idea and I spent a good eight hours just integrating the audio/songs and mixing it; (b) because you might hate it.

IMPORTANT QUESTION RE. VOTING:

The voting should probably not for "favourite song" but "favourite story/song SYNTHESIS," but the original composers have sort of a leg up on that one; the people whose stories I recorded, too, as I felt more at liberty to muck about.

So "overall impression" seems to be the key voting criteria, but I could, well, be wrong. What thinketh y'alleth?
