I'm here, and not drunk. Has everyone heard of Wilfred Bromo or have I managed to pick up on a meme before it gets old hat? The top two on that sight rock so hard. Best adverts ever.

Things are good my neolithic friend. They are french adds for Aids awareness. They are very, very sweet and make me feel warm and tingly.

In other warm and tingly news:
A perfect, delicate flirtation has, after three weeks, resulted in email addresses being exhanged. When, in about a year or so, I actually do bed this beautiful beautiful human being it will be so perfect. It's wonderful. It's like feeling grass grow under my feet.

I'm off to sleep now (perchance to sleep through my seminar) but I leave you with this crazy, cute, egg cartoon that turned up whilst I looked for erotica. It's completely safe for work (other than you shouldn't be listening to singing eggs during company time) and made me realise just how little cholestorol I do actually eat.

Night all.

Worrying thought. How many ages will Kegboy have to regress before he turns into Akira Keggers and we have to go to New Tokyo and hire some flying children?

Saint Keggers
03:16 / 19.10.06
Not sure, I was thinking of going through All The Periodic Table Age Keggers before finally becoming Super Sayan Keggers

Soon we will behold the primal ur-Keggers.

03:55 / 19.10.06
Ur-Keggers?

Is that like Keggers with a hangover?

I need slep. I'm drunk, and work is soon.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
03:52 / 20.10.06
ur-Keggers, swathed in Kirby-krackle, bounding high over the hills and pronouncing everything. ur-Keggers, having emerged at last from the primordial pools with a thirst for conquest and vengeance the pleasures of flesh. ur-Keggers, bearing divine weapons carved from bare stone and imbued with a fragment of hir own essence...

Anybody else about? My leaves are bristling from caffeine and late work shift, home at last, possibly about to barrell into some fiction writing.

Hola!

It's only 330pm here though. I wish I was in Canada, hepped up on caffeine at... 1130pm?

Oops. I didn't realise that 2 hours passed since that post.

Ok, it's late enough for me, an I'm sure someone on this crazy spinning ball of dreams is up and drinking.

Let's Shift It Baby!

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
19:14 / 21.10.06
I woke up an hour early because of fireworks and I'm busily ripping music to my MP3 player to take to work.

This sucks, actually- it's gonna be a long night and I haven't had much sleep at all.

COG
19:30 / 21.10.06
I've had the no sleep vibe all week from early starts. I was hanging my washing out before work, and it was pitch black with stars and everything. Finally crashed last night after a couple of beers and woke up nicely late today.

How's work going to be?

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
19:32 / 21.10.06
It's going to suck- Saturday nights always do. But it'll be okay.

Hey, I found that Mastadon CD, Leviathan in my library. Worth getting out for a non-metal head?

Papess
19:40 / 21.10.06
Hello, hello. Been a long while since I have shifted. How are the natives tonight?

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
19:44 / 21.10.06
Hey, trix!
Yeah, Leviathan's ace.If it's in the library you have nothing to lose!

Ah well, nearly time to take Sheena for a walk then go to work. See you in a bit!

iamus
19:44 / 21.10.06
Ooooh! Long time indeed! How's tricks?

I'm in an absurdly good mood, people.

COG
19:46 / 21.10.06
do tell. I too am rather jolly. I have a "date" with a lovely lady tomorrow, and I've no idea if anythings going to develop, but there are a lot of good signs. There are also lots of bad signs. OOOh the tension. I can't stand it.

iamus
19:49 / 21.10.06
I'm going to have to be a tease and stay very hush-hush. It's great though.

Good luck with yr lovely lady.

Signs point to very good indeed if you're a 'lither and you've already actually talked to her, never mind arranged a date.

COG
19:53 / 21.10.06
I was a man before I was a 'lither. Not only talked to her, but in two languages too. but the foreigness will lead to all sorts of mis-reading of signs I predict. Oh well, we shall see.

If I stop posting, it's because my connection is SHIT.

Back to Jollity. Ooh, what shall I wear?

iamus
20:02 / 21.10.06
A nice big smile?

I predict all sorts of sitcom craziness with the language barrier. I once knew somebody (or I think I did, though I may have heard it elsewhere who was flatmates with a couple. As far as I remember, she was Scottish, he was..... portugese?. Neither of them spoke each other's language and instead had to talk to each other in Japanese.

iamus
20:03 / 21.10.06
Um.... I should really work on my anecdote delivery.

Bed Head
20:04 / 21.10.06
Yay, shift. I’m workless, and boozeless, but I’m home again after *another* few lazy weeks of travelling around, so I’m currently happy at being reunited with my computer and my computer chums all over again, and at being able to catch up on three episodes of Battlestar Galactica at once. And then I’m doing my ususal homebody Saturday night hot bath/good book THING. I’m in an absurdly good mood, too, though I think my good-moodiness will probably be like totally eclipsed by iamus’ good-moodiness. I have that hunch.

But that makes my good mood even good-er! Such is the GOODNESS.

And, yeah, good luck with the date, cog. First date!

iamus
20:07 / 21.10.06
Wha-hey! It's the Bed Head!

Back from the abyss once again. Did you recover some artistic gems from the land-of-darkness-and-no-internet? Things that you can share with the world?

COG
20:10 / 21.10.06
no idea if it's a date or not. That's the problem. But it's the second time she's agreed to show me the sights of Barcelona, and a third is provisionally agreed.
We both speak both languages to a usable level, so communicating is not a problem. Just the subtle interplay of humour and flirting.

My neighbour's got the music blaring again. It's usually pretty good, but tonight seems to be Croation jazz night.

I need some new headphones.

Papess
20:21 / 21.10.06
Hiya Stoat. I am doing very well, tonight.

I hope you have a good date, coq.

Not up on my metal bands so I can't comment on Leviathan.

iamus
20:23 / 21.10.06
I'm not sure, trix. Do you know who I am? Or was, more to the point?

iamus
20:39 / 21.10.06
This shift needs a shot of caffeine.

COG
20:43 / 21.10.06
hey, sorry, just downloading stuff.

I'm loving all things MF DOOM for over a year now, and it's getting stupid. I listen to the same 6 or 7 albums over and over, completely ignoring all past and current music.

Who wants photos in this thread? of my exciting life.

Tsuga
20:48 / 21.10.06
I'm making coffee right now. Sorry I can't share.

iamus
20:48 / 21.10.06
I want photos!

I will return soon. Going to order in some food, but have to shoot out to the cash machine first.

Blake Head
20:49 / 21.10.06
I'm about, and powered primarily by caffiene. Good
evening.

Blake Head
20:51 / 21.10.06
Or indeed: caffeine.

Bed Head
20:52 / 21.10.06
Ooh. I’ve always kinda wondered what would happen if I posted in the same thread as you, Blake Head. Right up next to you, like. Is this a matter-meet-antimatter sort of thing? Will the shift now go asplode? Let’s see.
