Weather-wise it actually seems okay here. Which is just as well, seeing as how Sheena is giving me those reproachful "look you fucker! I need a fucking WALK!!!" eyes. One more beer, and we go out.

Well, it's a bright and sunny, erm, night round these parts.

Its rainy here. Odd day. Someone started shooting the college I went to. Nothing but that story on the news all day.

Gaah! Is anybody hurt?

See up thread for discussion and pic of lightning bolts.

A new day dawns here, and the future children have disappeared back to their own time, with crayon plans of mayhem clutched in their grubby fists.

16 wounded. And Im not sure if the shooter was shot by the police or shot himself.

You must be from Montreal, right, keggers? It's all over the news.

I hope you and all your friends in there are ok

Ahh, thunderstorms, always so handy for knocking out the digital tv when I'm intending to watch something. Looks like you're stuck with me for a while.

I just had a lovely time in Ireland. My Parental's new dog is a lab/colly crossbreed and utterly insane. Good fun.

I havent been in there for a numerous years but I still know people who go there. No bad news on the local grapevine (lj, messengers ect..) . Its just really odd.

While reading CCN's newspiece on the Montreal shooting I came across with this little historical info:

This is not the first shooting at a Montreal college. About 17 years ago, Marc Lepine opened fire at Ecole Polytechnique. Fourteen female students were killed in the December 1989 shooting before Lepine killed himself.

Lepine left behind a three-page letter blaming feminists for his not being able to get into the school.

Yeah, right. You being a mysoginistic fucked-up nutjob didn't have anything to do with it...

Hi Liger - forgot to ask in a previous post how yer cat's doing?

We gave our cat away due to a combination of new baby and allergic step-mother, so I get sorta attached to other people's cats now.

Not as rewarding, but cheaper.

No, I dont think so. Im just glad nobody was killed. Excluding the shooter that is. I wish he wasn't shot though. Would have rather seen him rot away in jail

Saint Keggers

Now the media is saying one student died.

People are stupid.

When was the last time you heard of a rampage shooter/killer in a school/college/office/whatever being caught alive? I think suicidal tendences are part of the impulse to kill random people. (layman talking here, mind you)

Hi Liger - forgot to ask in a previous post how yer cat's doing?

She's still a little disoriented from her vet visit (They had to sedate her for the urinalysis) and she's mighty pissed off at me for chasing her down and forcefeeding her that awful medicine, but her symptoms seem to be subsiding already.

QUESTION...

I haven't seen Miracle Mile in years, but I remember it being a great film.

Should I watch it now (having downloaded it) or will it depress the fuck out of me?

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
21:55 / 13.09.06
South America?

You gonna become one of them masked wrestlers?

Bear, you're fucking ace. Just thought I'd say that in case you didn't carry on posting once you'd relocated. Hope you do, thouugh.

I'm going to bed, anyway. Goodnight, all. I figure having an early night is weird enough for ne thgat it's worth doing once in a while.

Also it's pissing it down outside, and Sheena is SO not up for a walk in that.

I love Evita - same way as I moved to London after watching Oliver - nah not really that's where my gf is from so going there for some easy living. That's the plan at least plus it's easier to get into the world of Lucha Libre from there... :P
