Not really... it's my last night of the shift, but everyone's off sick or on holiday, leaving more work to do. So I'm half stressed out and half joyful. It's a strange feeling, really.

How's you?

Hey there, all! I am tired. Been grading papers...not finished yet, but I think I'll just get up early. Have to type out my responses to these papers. Need to take some more time with them with a fresh brane.

There's a concert going on in my little village; my windows are buzzing a little.

Pretty good. Spent the day doing some art and trying to get things together for a photoshoot which, based on the numerous times its been necessary to postpone, seems destined to never happen in this lifetime. This whole artistic genius isnt anything like the brochure said.

Oh, and hello, gentlemen. Long time no see. I have a cocktail.

My sister's nearly finished the chemo, but (being clearly insane and nothing like me) started back at work last week. HOPEFULLY we'll be getting some similar news about her soon!

How's your cat, Liger?

Her symptoms don't seem to be getting any worse, Thank goodness. She goes in to the vet tomorrow (it was the soonest appointment I could manage) I'll keep you folks posted on what they find.

And now I'm coming down with a cold.

Really chuffed to hear you news, Stoatie!

Hearing stuff like that give me a massive happy, too. Have a great trip home.

How are we all, then? I know it's not late yet, but I'm working 2pm to 10pm and I'm gearing up for when it is late and I'm clutching an icy tinny...

Hi Keggers.

Well, here I am at home now, grasping a chilly tube of Becks.

Just about to watch the last two episodes of Prison Break on the DVD box set I got from amazon.com ($38 - why do Americans pay soooo much less for DVDs than Europeans like me?).

There seems to be a trend nowadays for never-ending, forever meandering drama series and a general consensus that 24 hour long episodes is the ideal number of chunks to break the infinite number of episodes into. How did this arise, I wonder?

But I digress - time to watch me telly - catch y'all soon (no doubt I'll keep pausing and popping back every now and then).

NO! Don't watch the end!

Worst ending Ever!

I'm still debating whether or not to watch the secod series. I just feel betrayed. The whole thing started off sooo good, then just turned into a pile of wank.

Oh, you wont be disapointed. They carry it through nicely.

Looks like I'm destined to be disappointed for several months after watching the final episode (which I'm now half way through) until I can buy the DVD set of the second series.

I'm on the edge of my seat right now (if you ignore the fact that I paused to check back here) and can't wait to see the cliffhanger I'll obviously be left with.

It's all going to end in tears, no doubt...

The strangest thing happened today. A work colleague's mobile rang, and I recognised the ringtone as an Ozric Tentacles tune...! (I'm trying to track down which now)

She's not in the slightest bit crusty, and had no idea what I was talking about.

Huh. Maybe no one does.

I have just got in from work. Iamus v2.0 was in again. It is weird how similar they look.
Also, I wrote a sappy folk song and came up with the most saleable idea for a book ever.
Yay me.

How is everyone?

Keggers - are you just saying that?

I was sorely disappointed by the way the series lost its edge and direction someway after the midpoint.

Do they kill the really annoying lawyer/girlfriend lady? And the squarejaw brother?

Please say they kill them...

And also - have they dropped the storyline about Finding Out The Truth about Lincoln's set-up? I never cared about that a single bit. I was always waiting for the action to get back to the prison...

And seeing as they...

broke our of prison, I'm really not sure there's that much interest in it for me.

That said, it'd be worth it if Fish manages to pull out another string of immensley-improbable-but-he's-a-genius-so-it-works tricks to keep them out of trouble.

Do they continue haywire's story at all?

Did you manage to invent addictive words?!

Ewwwww....

Still, gotta see series two - massive cliffhanger à la Lost - which is also endless and pointless.

Got me hooked, tho.

The bloody helicopter didn't have a bloody I.R. camera!!

Are these guys stupid? It's dark and you're looking for people from a helicopter! Buy a bloody I.R. camera!

Don't you realise your map and pin have been superceded this century?

Even so, roll on series two, like.

Wanting ciggies and having none is surely one of life's most frustrating (and ultimately most trivial) predicaments.

May be a good time to give up?

As I must do in two days' time, when my current supply of contraband ciggies dwindles to nothing but ash and curled filters...

If there's one thing life's taught me, it's that whether you smoke or not has absolutely no connection to your likelihood of getting cancer.

It's still not very good for you, obviously, but...
