OK. I was supposed to be in da pub by now, but things have been delayed, and in this delay I've been thinking about my relationship with Barbelith. And so, Similar to id, I don't like leaving some of threads hanging *, but I feel I'm getting too emotionally involved (and sometimes drained) in this place, so I'm going to take a break from posting; although I may pop back to read stuff, and I"ll probably have a question or two for the Questions & Answer threads at some point (e.g. I have one about 'They Live' which I'm trying to answer myself at the mo').
Also, I'm aware of the ambiguity of some of my posts, which is (I admit) deliberate at times; and which is why I often litter my posts with parenthesis, caveats, and footnotes when I'm talking about more serious stuff. But then I guess we all do this in some way or another, non?
Whatever, I'm having a "no-posting" break for as long as I think is necessary; but I'll check my PM's every so often, and at times I'll be lurking and (no doubt) laughing.

*I hope, for example, that Tag TV and the Barbelith Universal Declaration of Member Rights turn out positive in some way, and I'm genuinely sorry for passing the buck on these. |
