Anyway, Keggers, take my advice— quality absinthe does not have a very high thujone content. When people advertise high thujone absinthe as better than the stuff with the standard ~30 mg., that's like deciding that because alcohol is the active ingredient in a really excellent whisky, drinking 98% isopropyl will be even better. Yech.
Jade Edouard is really nice. It's a pleasant drink provided you enjoy the taste of anise, it's got a beautiful color and louche, and it's got the right amount of wormwood for a nice, clear-headed experience. People who want to hallucinate are better off getting mushrooms, anyway; it's cheaper and less toxic than consuming the necessary amount of thujone would be. |
