Aiee, goodnight suedey! It has been nice, hasn’t it? Felt damn good to get stuff off my chest anyway, and to goggle at all the other Good Stuff. And now I know I’m going to get some good stuff done tomorrow, off the back of this shifty vibe. Yay indeed.

I'm wanting to colour it too. Judging by my current workrate, it's a long-term investment. Anyway, I like the details. I can lose hours in the details.

It's still a bit of an experiment. Willfuly pushing myself towards the stuff that inspires me, not what comes naturally. I want to develop in this direction quite a bit. There's quite a few things I'm not happy with in this already. I also need to work on my bolcking (is this the right word?).

My work is all line detail at the moment. When I lay down my linework it has little correlation to how I want to colour it and I'm also afraid of using blocks of black. I need to sort that out. Study a bit of Jaime Hernandez. He's the master of blacks and whites in my book.

This does seem like a natrual end. However, this has been an inspiring shift. It highlights how much I need arty types around me for work critique and inspiration. At the moment I have absolutely none of that. Possibly why I never get anything done.

I have no idea, I’m afraid about blocking. Or Bolking. But I’m interested in what you’re saying about willfully pushing yourself towards certain places, because I’m fascinated by the mental stances people take *as* they’re mark-making. As opposed to their attitude to the finished work, which is always much more visible.

But it is the end though, isn’t it? I do want to carry it on, but alas, I’m knackered. Goodnight, goodnight. And thanks for scanning and uploading and showing. It’s always a treat to see work in progress.
