I'm at work. I'm using Barbelith to entertain myself.

I usually read Convo, Policy, then Switchboard and games, then Music, then Comics. Although if I know something's coming up in London the Gathering as well. But if it's a slow night I'll just read everything. Over and over again.

Do you ever dabble in The Temple?

And what is your favorite comic book, as of late?

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
01:55 / 19.11.05
I read the Temple, but rarely post. My favourite comic at the moment's All-Star Superman, but that's probably because I only got it today (well, yesterday now) and I'm fickle.

I just got back from not seeing Harry Potter. I tried to warn her it would be sold out... but would she listen... Nooooo!

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Ah, that sucks. It's been ages since I've not seen a decent movie.

I think the last movie I saw was Batman Begins.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
02:27 / 19.11.05
Oh, the last movie I saw was probably Serenity. But I don't think I've not seen one since Mulholland Drive.

*sigh* I still havent seen Serenity. I think George Lucas ruined sci-fi for me.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Funnily enough, my first words on coming out of Serenity were "I hope Lucas watched that. And I hope it made him cry".

Weird synchronicity: I just finished watching 'Revenge Of The Sith'.

Anyone here? Or are you all too busy having lives at the weekend?

00:14 / 20.11.05
Hello? Anyone here? I'm watching a Harry Potter re-run on US network TV. Commercials and all. I don't know which one. 3 I think?

Hello Alas! I attempted to get in to see HP yesterday but it seems they are sold out FOR THE WHOLE WEEK!!! Insane!
I guess I shall have to be contented with Potter on dvd.

How's things?

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
00:22 / 20.11.05
I've still only seen the first one. That was quite fun, though.

Saint Keggers
00:29 / 20.11.05
The movie was better was it was stil just a book in my mind.

00:33 / 20.11.05
Hey, all. I would like to see the new HP this week. I'm in Florida. The weather is fine. I think it must be HP2, the Chamber of Secrets? I could google it to find out for sure, but it's kind of ufn to guess. The good thing about advertsis I can get a cup of tea while they run.

So, here's an ad for Chrnoicles of Narnia. You excited for that, Sregg?

Saint Keggers
00:36 / 20.11.05
I'm really not sure. I haven't read any of the books. Im not too impressed with the way things look. The effect are done by WETA which I believe is the same company that did the effects for the Xena and Hercules tv shows. It looks like it could be a large budget TV show. I dont know. I Guess I'll see it, then again, thats what I said about Serenity and I still haven't seen that. *sigh*

Hello Lateshift.
I'm more excited about the original bbc series of CoN being released onto dvd than about the forthcoming movie to be honest. Guess we'll wait and see on that one though.
Over this week I watched the firefly tv series. Bloody amazing for a first season, a pity it didn't continue.
Is the movie good?

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

I reckon Narnia could be cool, except the Father Christmas bit will no doubt piss me off as much as it did when I read them as a kid.

Tilda Swinton as the Ice Queen, though- that'll be good.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

(Oh, and DS? Serenity is absolutely fucking ace.)

Ok, the wireless in this hotel is, as Stoatie and my British Brethren say, "shite." So it's impossible for me to respond in a timely fashion. But I do have some nice tea.

Saint Keggers
00:47 / 20.11.05
and isn't that what really matters? (sais the man wishing he had coffee right about now)

alas
00:49 / 20.11.05
Ok, I realize it may not be so fascinating to you all, but I don't really watch television, and the last add was for a new Made For TV Movie called, "Have No Fear: The Life of John Paul II." Have No Shame: The Exploitation of a Dead Pope.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
00:51 / 20.11.05
There's a new comic about the guy, too.

alas
00:55 / 20.11.05
Actually, that makes me sound like I liked old JPII, but I thought he was so fucking wrong about well everything that had to do with women, abortion, birthcontrol--he's at least indirectly responsible for a great deal of human misery. It's just this kind of "let's make money off Catholic sentimentality" thing. If the anti-christ would sell so well, they'd go for that. There's just something so fucking ... oh, Commercial? about it?

[Newsflash: American network television is not dedicated to aesthetic integrity.]

I do like that Padre Pio/ Macarena techno remix though. What's next for JP?
Chart Success?

Ok, apparently Duracell batteries will save the rainforest.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

If the anti-christ would sell so well, they'd go for that.

Umm... they already do, like, all the time?

Personally, I'd buy the comic if he fought dinosaurs in it. Or robots. Robots would be good.

alas
01:04 / 20.11.05
That's right, I forget. Jerry Springer, after all, is old news...

Looks like HP and Ron could use a fightin' Pope about now, as they're bein' attacked by a passel of spiders.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
01:04 / 20.11.05
Fuck, if he'd've done that I'd go to church.

alas
01:09 / 20.11.05
It is too bad he spent so much time fightin' Condoms when Fightin' Massive Arachnids would have so much more dramatic interest. A little wine, a wafer or two, why it's practically like going to the movies.

Saint Keggers
01:11 / 20.11.05
more wine. Alot more wine.
