Hey, Stoatie, fellow luvvie. Went to see Tamburlaine the Great tonight at the Barbican on your recommedation and it was a right old romp. Bit thrown when Ian, the gay chef from the Archers, turned up as one of Tamburlaine's murderous henchmen, wearing a sheep.
And I could quickly see why you enthused when I realised that Badger Seth was a major character. But we enjoyed it and are now better educated about Jacobean playwrights that aren't Shakespeare.
And now I have got home and drunk lots of wine and am about to fall off the couch. |
