Ah Subbacultcha, if only you were here this past week-end. Weather wise, it was lovely. Sunny and bright, with just a bit of nip to the air. If you had been here, we could have gone to Mont Royal, enjoyed the view and the autumn foliage. Afterwards, we could have wandered to one of the many cafes that dot the city and had cafe au lait and chocolate croissants. Alas, it was not to be. Anyway, as Rising and Revolving said in the thread in Gathering, you can easily visit Montreal and New York. Visit us again in late spring/early summer - you'll have a blast!

Same'ol, same'ol. However, I am feeling a bit under the weather. One of my colleagues came in sick, and now pratically my entire department is feeling ill. I fucking hate typoid marys. If you're fucking sick, stay home; don't come to the office and infect everyone else!

More tech help questioning. Well I bolloxed my computer upgrading to XP Pro something to do with RAID adapters two hard-drives etc but that's really just supplementary to the story. Basically all my computer content was wiped. I still have dvd driver installed I presume as my dvd drive is responding to an insertion although it isn't recognising the disc. I had something called powerdvd of which unfortunately the disc is misplaced possibbly in a multiple choice geographical locations. Is there some online programme recommendable by anyone?
Further to that it looks like windows does not come with a dvd decoder which is what I would need. So what is a dvd decoder and where can I get one for free?
