Weird. I was watching tv one day and my high school guidance councellor was on it as part of a comedy improve troupe. This may explain quite abit.

Don't you just hate it when you have one of those dreams where you dream you're Herman Goering's son and you're being buried alive and then you wake up and you can't get back to sleep? I know I do, and I'm supposed to get up in four hours time for a ten hour work day...

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:31 / 20.10.05
It's a bit like whenever I dream about being someone completely different, with bushy black hair and a big bushy beard, and I look in a reflective window and just think, "I need to shave." It's so -- anticlimactic.

Its like the dream where my camera kept shooting all these weird otherworldly pictures but it turned out it was only because of cars running over the power cord. Then I woke up and remembered my camera batteries needed charging.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy

Time to start Draft 2 and fully explore the point of view for this story.

Ice cream would not go afoul right now. I wonder if I can rescue some freezerburned stuff and make a milkshake.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Hello!
I've actually been doing work while at work tonight, which is a bit poo. But I've nearly finished.
Ice cream would be great... but I have none. That's also poo.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
03:36 / 20.10.05
The ice cream was a lost cause, so I've ended up with a cookie, a piece of pumpkin pie leftover from Thanksgiving, and a mug of hot chocolate. Not bad.

Work at work? Wild. If only; I seem to keep getting sucked into fooling about with things rather than actually writing.

Yeah, I've had to write an interminable amount of summaries of newspaper articles about how we're all gonna die from bird flu. I never thought the imminent apocalypse could be so... well, boring after a while.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy

All the really successful apocalypses have more than one major threat going on, or else everybody gets a little bored and stops paying attention.

I mean, Halley's Comet probably would have been more successful if all the seas had turned to blood at the same time, but NOOO, everything had to be about death from above...

Did anyone else ever read Young Miss magazine in their youths (now it's called YM, I think, or was a few years back--no idea if it's still in circulation). I scrolled down looking for the late shift and found the "wrong thread dude" one but only realized what I'd done after posting. Anyway, Was My Face Red. (That's the allusion to Young Miss, fyi)....

The horror the horror...

I didn't read it... should I have done?

It is an interesting philosophical question that is causing dissent at family breakfast tables up and down the country: How might Stoatie have been different, had he read Young Miss during his formative years?

For example, I used to read my little sister's Bunty and I have never owned a trouser press, possibly in consequence.
