In actual fact I don't consider myself to be much of a baby person, in that I think they are, in the main, rather strange looking beasties, especially between the ages of 9 to 15 months when their heads get over large and their bodies take on that disconcerting dwarflike stocky quality...
...I better stop, I'm starting to worry that the Bosun's lovely looks are doomed.
In all seriousness, it's really odd being a parent, in that it's almost impossible to get any distance, and look at your baby with any degree of objectivity. I need other people to tell me he's squiggy because I don't trust my own judgement. |
