...probably not much of a challenge to stalk him (non-Americaness aside...)

He was awful in Mary Poppins.

How about Val Kilmer?

Keanu Reeves is the Second Coming? WTF?

I did suggest Paris Hilton, but she may be too big now. Keaton is a good one or maybe Yasmin Bleath, I find faded stars very interesting, thanks Lou Reed & JG Ballard.

Michael Keaton is only faded in the "not in the new Batman flick" sense. He's a stunner. I'd stalk him, but it's a bit impractical with this whole ocean-and-continent-in-the-way thing.

Rutger Hauer is in the new Batman flick, and is eminently stalk-worthy, but he's not a Yank.

Please movie-spirits-do-not-let-this-Batman-movie-suck.

...there's been a lot of "Val Kilmer" graffiti appearing in Toronto in the last year. Although I did see some 'down with Kilmer' writing a few weeks ago. You need someone that's not all that famous, but was at some point...

(more loud singing) "...baby we were born to ruuuunnn..."

Christian Bale is cool enough to kill any suckines...

...hmmm.. I feel like watching Velvet Goldmine now...

Val Kilmer, for all his faults, is a nice bloke.

What about somebody like Annie Potts?

Shrug
23:30 / 21.05.05
Well not American but speaking of Velvet Goldmine, Jonathon Rhys Meyers. oooo I'd stalk him any day, wink wink nudge nudge etc.

JRM is okay. I could be convinced!

Britain has such a fantastic wealth of pointless celebs, many of whom would love a stalker or ten. You ain’t made it until you have a stalker in this celebrity culture. "The Hurley" keeps all her stalker like correspondence in a shoebox; they do appreciate the attention, to an extent. Geri Halliwell seems like the most desperate celeb and is thus ripe for stalking.

23:38 / 21.05.05
"...Well, you're the grand one
Have you noticed?
When you walk in all the fairy boys are very nervous
Well, my starship doesn't want me
And neither does his world
I'm glad I caught you on my view screen, sailor..."

la la la!~

Is there such thing as Pity Stalking?

"oh.. poor Ms. Halliwell. I'll stalk her for a bit.. for her sake, mind..."

Geri isn't nearly as bad as Victoria "Crisis of the Week" Beckham.

Baz Auckland
23:45 / 21.05.05
I sold coffee to Ms. Beckham once... well, to her sister and her baby. She waited outside... Ah, my brushes with fame! The glamour of Starbucks!

Everyone goes for showbusiness. Try newsreaders or politicians, they need the love.

Strange Machine Vs The Virus with Shoes
23:53 / 21.05.05
Victoria seems to have been subsumed by her role as Mrs Beckham, almost to the extent that she has lost her own identity. Maybe she could use some stalking, as a means to self-identity, so here we have stalking as a means of celebrity rehabilitation and self identification.
BTW, Magic FM have just played 3 great song in a row: the new Coldplay, the Cars classic “who’s gonna drive you home” and Ultravox – Vienna.

Strange Machine Vs The Virus with Shoes

And now Magic are playing “The Carpenters”, is there a better music station for this time of night in the UK? I don’t think so!

Baz Auckland

what Carpenters song? (I have a special fondness for Superstar...)

I take it you live in the Finsbury area, nicht wahr?

Strange Machine Vs The Virus with Shoes
00:11 / 22.05.05
No,I live in the Pimlico area, I just like the name Finsbury. London has such fantastic area names: Pimlico, Finsbury Park, Hounslow. Clapham, Peckham and Turnham Green. A funny old saying. Can’t remember the name of the Carpenters song, they all sound the same but sound great. Are you a New Zealender Baz?

Baz Auckland
00:17 / 22.05.05
No... Canadian. The name was just made up by some old friends who started an online cult for a bit. No Auckland connection really...

...and I just got a call that my friends aren't going out after all since there's only 2 of them (not the group as planned) damn... but as I am already drunk I figure I should just go out alone... yes?

Strange Machine Vs The Virus with Shoes
00:25 / 22.05.05
Hell yea, going out drunk and alone is an adventure and should be embraced with heroic vigour, a chance to shake some action and embark on an odyssey. But we’ll miss you from the ‘lith. Go forth and seek new territories Baz.

One could write a whole thesis on the booze. For me, I finish work on a Friday and hit the drink. It has been both a source of liberation and encapsulation, maybe that is just the Libran in me talking.

I'm loving the booze at the moment even though the freedom it offers if dangerous. Used to be a stoner but trying to go in a different direction.

finsbury - how's life treating you?

Altogether now

They're creepy and they're kooky,
Mysterious and spooky,
They're all together ooky,
The Addams Family.

Their house is a museum
Where people come to see 'em
They really are a scream
The Addams Family.

(Neat)
(Sweet)
(Petite)

So get a witches shawl on
A broomstick you can crawl on
We're gonna pay a call on
The Addams Family.

Well applepollyloggies for the above frankly massive picture, what you up to?

Strange Machine Vs The Virus with Shoes

Life is treating me ok, not fulfilling my full potential though. Used to be a real acidhead and stoner. Feel that those drugs were a learning experience, but towards the end the paranoia and fear started to kick in so gave em up. Don’t get that with drink, still enjoy the odd mushroom trip. Trying to write a book, got the ideas but need to get down with the work. How’s life treating you Future?

Shrug
01:22 / 22.05.05
Further apologies for my excitableness at any mere mention of the Addams family.
I found acid to undefinable as anything other than as just "an experience". Fucked up as it was.

Strange Machine Vs The Virus with Shoes
01:33 / 22.05.05
Acid is a strange drug polytheneHarvey, I personally feel it should be taken with help from others, in the same way as some Amazon tribes take hallucinogenics. What is all that Addams family stuff btw?

Shrug
01:39 / 22.05.05
Sorry as I said mere mention,

Triplets: You rannnngggg?

I had this curious obsession with symmetry on acid coupled with an almost complete loss of depth vision. Then off to do an art practical in the morn which didn't help or maybe it did. Har.
