Well, you have an open invite to my casa here in Atlanta for as long as you'd like. There are many places I could take you to, and there is in particular a very strange boy whom I think that you, and all here, would enjoy meeting. I'm not romantically involved with him, but his brain works like no one else's.

So make a plan and c'mon down!

I shall most assuredly endeavor. It would be a lovely stop along my Southern mini Road Trip- a loop through Hilton Head, sundry points in Georgia, Nashville, Ashville, and back to RTP. Have you ever been to the UK and met some of the Lithers over there?

Kali, Queen of Kitteh
05:21 / 17.04.05
Well, I've had some of them visit me. And I have met some others in the cell gathering back in 2000.

Ginchy. I hold the dubious distinction of never having met another barbelither in the corpse. I'm hoping I can partake of my soon-to-be school's summer program in England not this summer, but the next and maybe meet and greet some of the Angles. (Anglos?)

Welp, I'm starting to lose my coherence, or at least my already dubious ability to spell. So to bed with me. Kisses and fizzy drunken shnoogles to whoever's still up. Bon soir.

Is it late enough?

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
21:04 / 17.04.05
Late is as late does, I guess.

I'm breaking my "no-telly" rule (cos as I was leaving the house earlier to go for dinner with the in-laws I got a call telling me there was a documentary on about Alexander Selkirk... pirate-tastic, if you ask me... so when I got home I put the telly on and this 100 Greatest Albums thing's on... Joy Division have been on, so I'm not going to break anything with a sense of injustice)

So yeah. Shifting a gogo.

What's the rumpus, cats and kittens?

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Okay. I'm cross now. The Verve are about twenty places higher than Joy Division. I promised myself I wasn't gonna get cross, but...

Liger Null
21:07 / 17.04.05
Joy Division rocks. Or rocked. Just out of curiosity, what else is on the list?

Updating my livejournal and debating with myself whether or not houswork is worth the trouble...

Hello!

Alanis Morrifuckingsette?

I may break things. Please stop me.

it's always worth the trouble after it's done, Liger.

21:10 / 17.04.05
The Verve!!! The Verve!!!

Who are they again....?

Liger Null
21:13 / 17.04.05
Look on the bright side, Stoatie. You won'n be so quick to break the No-Telly rule next time.

I've NEVER liked Oasis. But Noel Gallagher has just done himself a huge favour in my eyes by, while praising to the skies a couple of their most famous songs, described another as "appalling".

Jesus. Coldplay are on now.

This is why I don't watch TV. I understand now. (Well, that and the fact that when they were describing Bjork's "Debut" they said "well, she started off in a band called The Sugarcubes, which nobody liked" or words to that effect. I LOVED the Sugarcubes. PLUS I loved the K.U.K.L. album she and Einar did as a punk band on the Crass label. When did it stop being compulsory to listen to EVERYTHING on the Crass label? I'm getting old, aren't I?)

Info on Belgia anyone? think Im moving there.. possibly another place.. know of any countries where its cheap to live?

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
21:17 / 17.04.05
Liger- you took the words from my mouth.

Mr Slightly- come to London. There're ways to live cheap. Worked for me for a while, anyway.

Liger Null

But it never stays done for very long, DM...

I mean, I could get cross at the inclusion of "Imagine" when "Plastic Ono Band" doesn't appear to be anywhere to be seen...

...but I'm calm.

CALM.

Cool wet grass. That's what I'm telling myself. Cool wet grass.

Sounds interesting Stoatie.. which ways?

Liger Null
21:21 / 17.04.05
Well, the American South is fairly cheap-cheaper than Tokyo, anyway. And we have running water. Polluted, but running.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
21:23 / 17.04.05
Slightly- on a very basic level, selling drugs you can get a high mark-up on. (I was crap at that, though).

In terms of actual sensible advice, it's all little things. You can always get things cheaper; you can always live on not much, or get untaxed work.

What's the visa deal like from Norway?

The Verve!? The FUCKING VERVE FOR FUCK'S SAKE!? Christ in a bap ...

Good evening everybody!

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Evenin', Mr Brigade... yes, the fucking Verve. (I did think of you when London Calling was, rightly, included, though).

I have no idea

I rather dig Oasis. I think Mozz said it best: "Oasis, they're kind of like the Rutles for the nineties, aren't they? But that's all right."

So did I, Stoatie, so did I ...

Oh, and 'Sign O'The Times' is, in a sense, Prince's weakest album so these people are absolutely full of shit. Unless 'Purple Rain' turns up in the top ten.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
21:26 / 17.04.05
Mr Slightly- you should find out. (Not just the UK- you should look into the practicalities, other than the expense- before looking to move somewhere.)

Hey, everyone- ten pages is just wrong. I can't remember why, it just is. Anyone mind if I start a new LS?

I remember growing up in Oklahoma, we had our own well water. And that stuff was damn near crunchy with iron. Stained the bathtub and sink drains almost blood red.

Good times.

Umm... if you could all leave this thread and go to the new one it'd be cool.

See...

...um

...I'm gonna shit on the piano.
And I can't do it with an audience.
