i knew a guy who was an expert in giving people the nagging feeling they have left one of there hobs on.

hobs???

The Puck
00:02 / 12.04.05
sorry, hob is an english word for a ring on a cooker.

andrea dworkin has died...

Great...another one trying to hog the pope's limelight.

It's oooh so very quiet,,,

I said It's oh so very quiet!!!

Alex's Grandma
01:08 / 12.04.05
If it's any use, K, I just came out as a necrophiliac to my grandmother.

You could see what she was thinking, I guess.

So I'm typing this under extreme duress, man...

Dworkin's dead? I may not like her writing that much but that totally sucks.

Saint Keggers
01:10 / 12.04.05
Yeah, it would have cool if she never died..so at the end of time God could ask her "So, how'd those theories pan out?"

Tryphena Absent
01:13 / 12.04.05
Oh come on, the woman was treated like shit by men, who can blame her for her theories?

Alex's Grandma
01:16 / 12.04.05
Well she was a big man though, Dworkin, and she was out of shape.

Saint Keggers
01:22 / 12.04.05
Oh, I've never read any of her stuff. I just think everyone who tells other people how things are should be around when all is said and done. Just to see the look on their faces when they realize either their theories were shit or they were spot on.

Tryphena Absent
01:29 / 12.04.05
Hey, I'm not saying anything about her size, I'm just really lucky that my body burns off fat so quickly because with the amount of cake and chocolate I eat I should be the size of a house, not a (UK) size 12- that's a US 8 I think... (2 bars, 1 chocolate fudge brownie, 1 small popcorn, a bowl of chocolate ice cream and a mint moccha frappucino with whipped cream today)

Tryphena Absent
01:30 / 12.04.05
And sorry Keggers, I getcha.

Saint Keggers

Thanks..now Im hungry for some chocolaty goodness. And the cheesecake I had last night was the worst cheesecake in the history of cheeses and/or cakes!!!

Tryphena Absent
01:40 / 12.04.05
Oh, I meant to tell you that in Pizza Express the other day (do they have them there?) I had a really good piece of cheesecake. It was just right- not too cheesy, not too creamy. As I ate it I though that you would probably appreciate it.

Saint Keggers
01:42 / 12.04.05
Sadly we have no Pizza Express here. But I will add it to Keggers List of Things To Quest For.

Thank you for the tip.

I had somw wonderful cheesecake tonight, coincidentally. Though a totally mediocre sandwich introduced it.

Damn I love the UK. My breasts are bigger and my feet are smaller.

Which, I think would actually leave me flat on my face, come to think of it.

Not to worry Strix, a large number of mother-fixated men would no doubt rush over and help you up again.

Hugs to all, for I am not, and I'll repeat that - that ... not at work!

Me neither! Ain't life grand?

Although I doubt I'll be Shifting too late tonight, as I have to ger up early to help lilly and TangoMango move house.

Jesus, Doom 3's a lot of fun.

Oh, and as the magnificent Ivor Cutler once said, "If your breasts are too large, you may fall over. Unless you wear a rucksack."

Boy did I learn THAT lesson the hard way.

I have to be up early too for The Man.

Were you listening to Mitch Benn earlier on, by any chance? Cos he had a great sketch about The Man.

I was and 'twas rather amusing. I think that series has improved quite a lot since it started.

I also went to see The Machinist today. It's ok, a bit predictable. Bale looks like a Freaky MF, though. And I don't mean that in a naughty way.

Evenin'.

I've just thoroughly depressed myself by reading a review of the Hitchhiker's movie (there's a link to it in FTVT).

Evening all. For my sins, tonight I shall be mostly ripping Sky2 by Sky. All four sides. I am typing very gently so as not to disturb the needle. How sad.

Progtastic.

Oh, the first reply just had to have Porg in it. How much worse do I feel now. Made all the worse as I took the piss out of a band I saw on Sunday as being "Sky with vocals". For shame, je suis hypocrite...

Porg?

Oh, persons of restricted growth.

Oh, prog has its place. Lord knows Copey wouldn't be here without it. Or Tool for that matter (and why doesn't ANYONE on eDonkey have the last five minutes of their live set with Robert Fripp?)
