Aaaaahhhhhyeah. The new Galactica! Rock on toast. And I thought I was going to hate it, too. And then I ran through the entire series in, like, three days, only now I find out there’s no more for a while. Cripes, it’s so miserable, and in such a good way! I’m almost surprised to discover the whole ‘genocidal destruction of the entire human race’ theme, that must've just gone straight over my head as 10 year old. For some reason. Probably too busy gawking at Dirk Benedict. But this new Balthar is even better! In a feckless, treacherous, genius kind of way.

I might have had a teensy weep over Galactica, once or twice. I’m going through a fragile phase though, okay?? This new Starbuck rocks, too. I love the way she’s allowed to look physically strong and capable while Apollo wears the totally unnatural stick insect look.

No, it really *is* good. And I’m not nostalgic at all for the old Galactica, Dirk Benedict crushage aside. I had to be forced, literally, as in, pushed into a chair and not allowed to leave, before I’d watch the new one. But it’s supercool.

And, yeah. The Film, TV and Theatre thread is a bit conflicted. We’ll keep the lateshift for just those posters that dig it. I'll start working on a test immediately.
