Is this an "office party" at which drinking will be frowned on (I may be misremembering an anecdote from the "Drinking at Work" thread, so please forgive me) or a more laid-back affair?
Nah, it's a people-from-the-office-going-to-a-pub sort of affair after 5pm, which is considered perfectly fine - and even encouraged (team bonding). The NHS is funny that way.
I'm looking forward to it, as, despite having recently left that placement, I still know many of the people quite well - and enjoy being drunk in their company. |
