DAMN I wish I had cable, just from 1100 to 1130 M-Th. Is that too much to ask? Hmmm? I don't even need any other channel. Just Comedy Central, just for that half hour.

The universe, you see, is obviously conspiring against me tonight. Ok, I know that conspire kind of requires more than one, so, yeah, it's conspiring With some other universe--at least one... a gang of universes, ganging up against me, and in one of those universes, all those who have cable, now, do not have it, and those who don', do. Which means that cable is viewed only by me and a few Amish families, in that universe. But the entertainment industry is making sure you don't know about that universe, because everything there gets shitty ratings, because it turns out the Amish don't watch much TV, even when they can watch the Sopranos, the Dave Chapelle Show, the Gilmore Girls, or reruns of Seinfeld every night. We're not a very easy demographic to cater to..., |
