ignoring the end of Morrison's run with Scott getting past his relationship to Jean
Believing that anyone really "gets past" a long-term relationship that quickly is what would really be crappo. Yes, Scott starts to move on at the end of 'Here Comes Tomorrow', but nobody really thinks human emotions are so easy to fix that you can just wave a magic Phoenix wand, lala la lala, and that's it... Well done to Whedon for including a nod to this straight away, in issue 1 ("and I still rate below a corpse", although of course Emma may be dwelling on it even more than Scott is). |
