I keep trying to think of something to say and typing out words that make me seem muy estupido so I'm just going to say hi.

Hi!!!

Hi? HI! How muy stupi...kidding!
Nobody ever claimed the lateshift as the bastion of intellectual prowess. Which may explain why alot of us post here while drinking.

Well no my typing was more along the line of I'm hungry or I went to the coolest site today or hey everyone I've actually updated my blog more than once this week.

Well, anyway you see what I mean.

Well dont keep us in suspense...what was that site?

http://www.looptracks.net. It's not really the best site ever, I really enjoyed it though. Fuck the sky's gone indigo, I think it's time to me to go to bed. Night night!

Surely, this *must* be worth a 5-second laugh: from the Guardian. I mean, I ask you: what kind of a name for a scary drug-gang leader is “Julian de Vere Whiteway-Wilkinson, 32, from Shoreditch”? Is this TVGoHome’s Nathan Barley come to life?

Not that his comedy name can be allowed in any way to diminish the very serious nature of his crimes, of course. Or whatever. But oh, wow, what a name!

Aww, I'm stuck on the bunny hutch. Hoppity. Huggles for Bedhead and other lateshifters- I'm going to get my clock back online any day now and stop waking up at four and going to bed at eleven, and lo, how shifty I then will be.

How come all the Barbelites are out on a Friday night instead if sitting in their bedrooms typing, like good little protoGoths? We did have a pub crawl round SoHo from 3 till 7 but we had to get home and catch the last of Queer Eye, not to mention BB5. I have lots to tell you, people, having had jam (and, later, honey) licked off my nipples this evening and having watched Flyboy's smooth moves at Gay Shame so recently. Oh, life is curious cycle of song...

Your tales sound intriguing and full of promise. I myself have nothing to offer that comes anywhere near what you've got, story-wise.

Not sure if here or the cat's iao's thread on posting drunk is the best place, but who's up?

I'm sitting waiting for my girl to return from a party in South London. My mates are all at a fight. Bored, drunk, tired.

Had a very unsuccessful night eating cheese watching rubbish on tV and drinking wine. Now listening to India Arie.

How's your night going?

I am off to work. Thought I would just say hello, quickly.

Suffering from MSG poisoning now..head about to bust open..AAHH!

Hello punishment, your glutton is here!...that last smartass remark brought to you by Keggers.

I shall hand the console over to him now.

Engaged?!

Not sure if here or the cat's iao's thread on posting drunk is the best place, but who's up?

This delights me in that there is a double possesive thing going on: the thread that is iao's and the iao that is the cat's. I like it.

How it going Jub? Are you still about?

It's still quite early here--6:15. I'm thinking about dinner, but as I so often do, not really doing anything about it.

Jub
23:25 / 10.07.04
yeah - am still here. bit worried about the girl as I just talked to her and she's very drunk and public transport's finished for tonight... well except night buses but it would be a logistical nightmare from there to here.

So, what are you thinking for dinner? (and where is here?)

Hello my fine (or not so fine, how should I know?) fellow lithers!

You guys are silly. It's only a little past 8pm. My new bike keeps calling me! "Explore the city at night Mike Robot." But I have to pick up my best friend from work in a bit, and I'll be late if I try to bike there, and she probably doesn't wanna ride on the pegs, and she probably wants her car back, cuz I borrowed it this afternoon because it was in the upper 90's and I didn't wanna get skin cancer coming home from work.

the cat's iao
23:37 / 10.07.04
Well, I don't know what I am thinking for dinner. Something edible, that is about as far as I've got. "Here" is Western Canada.

Howdy Keggers.

Taco Bell has this new giant size menu. You can get a grande' taco for a dollar and change, and be full! Off of one taco! Might try that. Also, the anorexic apple diet seems to be in right now, eat a slice every few hours or so and keep your metabolim going without eating many calories.

Saint Keggers
23:42 / 10.07.04
We dont have TacoBell here where I am. But if I were to open one...the money would be pouring in. I miss Taco Bell. I love Poutine though.

Jack Denfeld
23:43 / 10.07.04
Taco Bell is so great for poor people. I could probably order the whole menu and the total would be something like $16.98.

Jub

Cat's Iao - I recommend anyhting with cheese!

Mike Robot - you really should get "BMX bandits"...

It's one of those movies where it's "so bad it's good", isn't it?

It is bad, but one of the boy's is called goose. That's a recommendation enough. To be fair, I haven't seen it since I was a wee lad, but my brothers and me used to rent it from the video shop *every* week for ages.

sad, sad boys we were.

It epitomises good clean fun on BMXs, which I thought you'd approve of.

the cat's iao
23:54 / 10.07.04
You're right Jub: anything with cheese is good! I was thinking about heading over to the supermarket and maybe getting stuff for chilli & cheese dogs, or a pizza or something.

I hope your girl gets home safely.

@Mike Robot--why don't you put the bike in the car, pick up your friend, give her the car back, and then go biking?

@Grey Area--for God's sake man, why did you want to remove the hand & what do you think this has accomplished?

ONLY NICE THINGS

It will never be a patch on Solar Warriors, a film that could only have been improved by the appearance of Archie Hahn as a brutish enforcer.

Is that the one where some post-apocalyptic thirsty roller-bladers find a glowing globe thingy in a casket, and then it floods?

Jub
23:59 / 10.07.04
... because that film is rubbish!

Grey Area
23:59 / 10.07.04
What do I hope to accomplish with this? Why, to rule the world of course. Why else would I manipulate pictures at 1:30 in the morning? Certainly not to merely get a smile or two out of people.

And a friend of mine actually ended up in hospital after trying to emulate one of the stunts they do in that BMX movie...I think it was riding down off a roof on a plank.
